I could still picture her fear stricken face. She wanted to help me but I know that no one would ever get through to me the darkness was a part of me I just had to accept it's torture and suffering.

I suddenly heard a loud howl and turned to see Cameron thrown hard to the ground. No. I looked at Jaimie and he was already making his way towards him. I saw him slowly start conjuring up lightning as the Dark Lord advanced on Cameron. Cameron wasn't moving anymore. My heart thudded as I watched the Dark Lord get closer Jaimie howled desperately as if trying to yell at Cameron to get up. But he didn't move. Finally the Dark Lords wolf stood above him. Before any of us could even process, he swept forward his paw and slit Cameron's neck open.

The magic and the sheer number of enemies were taking their toll. I let Nora take over, tapping into her raw power and ancient knowledge.
