I instantly let the man go as he gasped for air. “Sorry.” I quickly apologize. He coughs. “It’s alright, I should have expected that. Wow you’ve got a grip.” He says, massaging his throat. I could see that it would bruise later. He holds out a hand. “My name is Casey Flynn.” He introduces himself. I shake his hand. “Nice to meet you. I’m Damian Morningstar.” I introduced myself. “Sorry for trying to kill you.” “Believe me, I don’t think you can since I’m a Cosmic Warlock.” He smiles. “Oh and this is my wife, Bella Flynn. She’s a psychic siren.” I shake hands with Bella as well.

Light glowed from their torches. As soon as they approached, the darkness that had been creeping over her receded, and she realized the power must come from one of the warriors. Her gaze moved to the one in the middle, whose bright green eyes seemed to glow with malice, and she realized it was him. She shuddered at the angry look he sent her way, and she wanted to collapse to the ground, though she thought that was more from fear than magic. “What are you doing here, Maclaren lass?” asked the one on his left. He was a slightly older man with a scarred visage and long brown hair. He didn’t seem particularly concerned on her behalf, but at least he wasn’t reacting with rage or fear.

Feeling he had reverted to his prime state as the Wolf King, Andrius grinned. “Heh…” Tristan said with contempt, “Even if time reverses, we’ll all become ordinary people, and there are three of us against you. Furthermore, the bodies of us from Darkstar are naturally stronger. You’ll still be dead!” Ethan and Mason also sneered. “Is that so?” Andrius could not be bothered to waste his breath on them, so he rushed forward like an arrow, swiftly killing the three Dark Star experts who had become ordinary people. And who are you?” The sorcerer turned toward him, those dark eyes gleaming. “My name is Saren Valis, and this is no game, Alpha.” The title dripped with meaning, with something too knowing. “You must know…” he continued, turning back to the rebel leader. “That Bor Khulan is watching. That the rebellion is already shifting. And that your ‘mission’ will determine where the tides fall.”
