Darla’s POV The morning air was sharp, laced with the kind of silence that came just before something big. When I stepped onto the film set, the world seemed to pause. I didn’t come dressed for comfort. I came dressed for war in black leather heels that clicked against the pavement with purpose. My long coat flowed behind me like armor. My hair was tied back into a tight, sleek ponytail. And my oversized sunglasses that shielded my eyes, but my presence was anything but gentle. I wasn’t here to blend in. I was here to be seen and remembered.

Claire stayed quiet while watching me for a few seconds before she slowly walked closer. “Milady…” she called softly. “Milady, how are you feeling? Should I get to your glass of water?” I didn't respond to her, I just walked straight to the bed and sat down. I wiped my eyes roughly with the back of my palm, sniffing in. Without saying another word, Claire approached me. She knelt in front of me and gently took my feet into her hands. She uncapped a bottle of oil she had taken from my mirror stand and began to slowly massage my feet, her touch is soft and careful.

“You ready?” Claire looked at her reflection in the mirror one last time before turning to me. “Let's get this over with.” I slipped into my silver pumps, Claire in her gold ones. Why they thought it was a good idea for me to wear heels? Beats me. With the heals, I was as tall as Goliath. Claire hooked her arm with mine and started towards the stairs. She was used to wearing heels, so she was my stability for the night.

“KYAHHH!” “HAHAHAHA!” “HAHAHA! ‘Always ready,’ my foot! HAHAHA!” It was none other than Dylan and Zayne, who had scared her. Claire clutched her chest as her heartbeat raced and her hair stood on end. “T-that’s not funny!” They couldn’t stop laughing, and even Zekiel chuckled at Claire’s reaction. Claire noticed and glared at him, but he just laughed harder. Bea and Dylan exchanged a thumbs-up.

She then trudged toward the car step by step. Opening the car door, she found the two cups, held them in her arms, and pressed on. The path was uneven and rocky, making walking extremely difficult. Clarice wobbled with every step, barely advancing a few meters at a time. Walking like this not only risked breaking her shoes but also hurt her feet. She often twisted her ankle after a couple of steps. To protect her delicate feet, she clenched her teeth, removed her heels, and walked barefoot on the uneven ground, moving much faster than before.

She was surprised and angry that Darryl put her on the beach and then took off her shoes and socks. A pair of fair and jade-like feet were exposed. "You… you let me go!" Irene was dumbfounded. She had no idea what Darryl was up to. She was shaking all over and yelling. Darryl ignored her yelling. He raised his fingers and summoned his internal energy, channeling it through the soles of her feet. The acupoints on the soles of human feet were sensitive.

Fred looked back at her in surprise, his gaze dropping down to look at her long, red-stockinged legs. He then tore his gaze away and turned back to the two young brothers. "Fortunately Claire's wearing that red set on the fourth page already." Andy grinned. "Fucking excellent! Let's see it then." "Is there somewhere I can get changed?" asked Claire. Dylan frowned. "I thought he said you already had it on?" "Oh, of course," replied Claire. For some reason she felt more awkward stripping off her clothes in front of the two young men rather than getting undressed in private and then returning in her lingerie.

I tie her robe back up and manage to get her heels off just in time for her bedroom door to fly open, and Sam comes rushing in. "What happened?" He asks, concerned. Veronica followed him in, with Bridget and Shayla just behind her. I quickly grab a pillow to disguise my hard-on under, praying it will go down fast. How the fuck am I meant to explain this one? She dressed quickly, wanting to avoid any unnecessary nagging from him. She wore a cream funnel-shaped dress with a high neckline and a low back, ending just above her knees, paired with black heels from Ch**el. She was going for a look that was both professional yet could easily transition to a party, and she managed to pull it off. Claire styled her hair in a low ponytail, planning to let it down later on the way to the party. After taking a good look at herself in the mirror, she walked around the room in her heels to make sure everything felt just right.

Giancarlo, Claire and Ryan wondered if they should go now or wait in the afternoon. “Wait–I’ll go get changed first.” Claire said. She was wearing a formal dress fit for church. “Okay. But be quick.” Giancarlo frowned. “Okay.. okay..” She almost ran all the way home. Fortunately she was not wearing heels or else she would have tripped and fell face down on the rocky ground. Meanwhile, in Salcedo's residence, Keenan and Dawn sat across Estela and Isidora. Selene and Tara were sitting on the couch on Dawn’s right.
