I asked. “No woman would put up with what you put her through over these last few months,” Leo told me, shaking his head. “Plus, I spent a lot of time with her and by the way she speaks about you, I can tell. Her eyes light up whenever she says your name.” I raised my brows and looked at him. “They do?” He nodded. “The same way yours do when you say hers,” he said, smirking. I lowered my gaze and stared at my hands.

Leo takes it and gulps it down in one go before putting it away. “I will take my leave,” Aria says but as soon as she says it, Leo grabs her and before she can protest, pushes on the bed. Even with an injured arm, he is stronger than her. He pins her underneath him, gazing straight into her eyes. Her bangs move and her full face comes to his view. Even with those scars, he cannot imagine a more beautiful mate. Her elegant aura gives a quiet dignity. Her skin is soft and warm and her beautiful jade colored eyes seem to look into his soul.

Her skill was above average and that's why she could handle things and worked with Alexander without any obstacles. Finally, at the business party, he saw her with his own eyes. Leo was shirtless and sitting at the edge of his bed and the woman was kneeling behind him, her hands on his shoulder. I could tell she was one of Leo's whore like Rhea told me just by looking at her. It seemed like Leo was going to have a good time with her and I ruined it. He was probably more angry with me. He said and narrowed his eyes to look at her. He wanted to try her. He was curious about how she was going to react. Although he paid for her for one year. It did not mean he had to stop dating other women. He was the boss, he still could do whatever he wanted, couldn't he?

A heavy silence hung in the air. Then, Leo laughed. The deep, hearty sound startled everyone. “I like her,” he said, his voice brimming with amusement. “I love a woman who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to say it.” He turned to Armstrong, a sly grin on his face. “Armstrong, don’t force her into anything she doesn’t want. I know you too well.” Armstrong rolled his eyes, crossing his arms defensively. “She doesn’t see what I’m trying to do for her. Women like her tend to make mistakes, Leo. She’s already made one, and I’m just trying to fix it.”

“Have you talked to her?” “She came to talk to me a few times, not the other way around,” Leo said. “She is mighty strong though. Can carry me around.” “Anything else happened?” I asked. “No,” Leo said with a shake of his head. “I am not really… Look, she is clearly very attractive. But… I don’t know if I can…” “It doesn’t have to lead to anything,” I said. “But if you promise her something, you must keep it.” “I haven’t promised her anything. At least, that’s what they told everyone. Leo watched as she threw her head back, laughing at something her date said. The guy was all teeth and gel, a finance bro who’d been orbiting her all night.
