"Otherwise what?" I challenged her, my irritation building up into anger.
She smirked, "you don't wanna know."
I scoffed, she must be drunk somehow. "You can do nothing, Jane," I reminded her.
She chuckled, "You see...it wasn't David that killed Goliaths, it was Goliath's overconfidence that killed him. He underestimated David."
The words hit me like a blow.
"Dear Mr Blackwood, do not let David hit you," she finished off with a smirk.
