Jacob POV “Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.” It’s a quote from Lao Tzu that’s been going through my head ever since Emily shut that door with me standing behind it. I wouldn’t call myself a romantic. Once upon a time, I didn’t even believe in love, but this woman has stirred my loins back to life. She’s like a fire burning bright, setting the darkness alight. The very thought of her makes me dizzy with desire, but I fear this morning may have been the last time I’ve ever seen her.

I could not detect his smell. "Oh wow. That's a lovely book you are reading." He narrowed his eyes. There was something off about this guy but what was it? I could not put my finger on it. I pursed my lips. "Thank you." "To know that you do not know is best. To think you know when you do not is a disease. Recognizing this disease as a disease is to be free from it." He blurted out. The book began to float in the air to the giant table. "Can't you use your spell to reach them or pick the right one?" Silver asked, watching her with excitement. "Would that!" She exhaled heavily, grabbing the book randomly. After several hours, it was almost dark out, "I'd be glad if you come tomorrow," Elizabeth asked. "I'd be one saying so." I didn't want to use thank you. "Thank Lord. You didn't say 'Thank You' " Silver said with disgust, she was looking tired. Indeed, we all were feeling tired.

Then there came the worst thing I had ever imagined him to do, a laugh. I raised a brow at him, is he insane? "Well look who actually is Goliath," he smirked. I clenched my fists, shooting him a hard glare. "Dear, Mrs Blackwood, do not let David hit you," he repeated my words from yesterday. "You should really be careful, David isn't far from you," he added, his smirk broadening. "Really?" I smirked, refusing to accept defeat. "Then we might just have to rewrite the whole story."

Cordelia and David wandered through the stacks, their fingers grazing the spines of countless books, searching for the perfect spot to settle in.
