Memories

Memories

yet always giving us the moon and stars. So, this dawn, as the blackish-greens take on their vibrant and verdant hues, I let it soak in a little deeper. As the sky changes from charcoal to soft dove grey I already cherish the blue that is to come. For the dawn is the invitation to the day, to the gift that is the present if we have the courage to see it fully and to love it with all that we are. The dawn came with a musical silence, the soul hearing the melody that the ears could not. A new day had come, new possibilities, a fresh page yet to be written.

Dear Don

Dear Don

Nodding, Dawn stepped forward to thank the crowd for their generous donation and spoke a little to introduce Aqua. “She doesn’t speak much English and is unable to walk,” Dawn announced with a strange accent to his English, confusing Aqua. “The song she just sang was a folk song native to her village. If you enjoyed the first song, please clap along to the following songs. We will be here for a while until the sun starts to set. The next song is about the ocean. Please enjoy!” Unsure of what Dawn was doing, Aqua only knew that the people standing in front of her was going to throw more money in the box if she sang another song. If Dawn wanted a song about the ocean, she knew the perfect one

The Rejected Blood Moon

The Rejected Blood Moon

--- The Song of the Second Dawn As night fell, the people gathered one last time at the Heartfire. Arianne stood before them, the emberlight dancing across her skin. “This is not an ending,” she said. “It is the Second Dawn. The Flow has chosen us not to worship it, but to live it.” She began to hum softly, and the crowd followed. Their voices rose in perfect harmony, filling the streets with light. The Flow thrummed through them, the rhythm steady and infinite. > thrum … silence … thrum … silence … thrum … Above them, the moon shone pale and clean—

The Dream of a Dying Swan

The Dream of a Dying Swan

He had become even more reserved than before, yet his methods grew increasingly ruthless, turning him into a living demon feared by everyone in the business world. Rumor said he remained faithful to his deceased wife by staying alone to this day. However, whenever I saw those so-called faithful headlines, I only found them absurd. One day, after training, the director of the ballet academy came looking for me. “Clara, your talent and discipline are undeniable. The academy is going on a world tour, and we want you as the principal dancer for The Dying Swan.” I froze, my heart pounding violently in my chest. Becoming a principal dancer had once been a dream so distant that it felt unreachable.

The Forgotten Secret

"Hey, that's disrespecting my privacy! Listen I get that you're so afraid to take the risk. And did you talk to mom? Dad says that you have been acting so cold to him and for mom's sake go meet her. Taming Sunrise

Taming Sunrise

Pops asked with his brows furrowed. "I could have put a stop to it somehow. Dusk is very dear to me but our relationship will never ascend into lovers. The only thing that is absolute here is my love for Dawn." "Then you don't have to say sorry, Caleb. For the first time in Dawn's life, she fought for her happiness instead of surrendering it to Dusk like she always does. I am glad that you are here to support her and let her claim her happiness." Mom walked towards him and helped him get back on his feet.

Amazing story so far, I love it. You pull readers in directly from the first chapter. I had a hard time putting it down. Absolutely one of my newest favorites. Thank you for your hard work as a writer.

Truly enjoyed reading this story! The only thing I would say is I wish there was either Dawn POV or Caleb POV at the beginning of each chapter or at the changes throughout the chapters when the POVs changed between the two. Other than that, really well written!! Good job author! 😊

Dusky Moonlight

Dusky Moonlight

The howling sound of the night creatures heard in the distance and the oozing breeze frosting all the flowers that are spreading the drowsy fragrance for the night and as if they couldn’t bear the cold the flowers were dangling while waiting for the sun to rise up. In the midst of that dense woods, like disturbing all these natural events, the trouncing majestic raven horse ran –penetrating the wind. The man should be skillful, brave, and strong enough to ride it this fast. He’s all covered in the worn-out navy blue and black sartorial, the sumptuous pearls and corals around his neck were shimmering in the moonlight. His brown eyes were fierce and sharp. It’s hard to understand what he’s cha

Darkrise: Dawn of Darkness

Darkrise: Dawn of Darkness

No wonder Maura was finesse; she was probably royalty. We decided to introduce ourselves individually to the Calma household staff. Amid the exchange of pleasantries, we were interrupted by a strong gust of wind that felt heavy in the heart. A figure appeared before us; it was a huge shadow in a shape of a cloaked man with no identifiable facial feature. It whispered in a gravelly, eerie voice, "Darkness has risen. Soon, hell shall rise; the dawn of darkness approaches." Then, it vanished in a cloud of smoke, leaving all of us coughing. Noah was yelling, "Moros, you coward! Face me!"

The Billionaire’s Baby Sitter

The Billionaire’s Baby Sitter

The day dawned crisp and clear. The sun poured through my window. Another day had dawned, bringing with it new hopes and aspirations. The light of dawn seeped into the room. Rose rubbed her bleary eyes and walked to the window. There was a pearly glow in the sky. The ray of sunlight lit up the room. The dawn chorus of melodic birdsong drifted in.

Infinite Dawn

Infinite Dawn

This doesn't help elevating the pressure strangling me now. "Do you need help, Nemiah?" Queen Morrigan called from the other side of the door. Right. The sun had already set and I could hear the sound of the trumpets from the ball. I tried to persuade the elders not to hold this ball for me but they insisted. Well, I'll just consider this as a gathering for the people who are already freed from Dubheasa.
