Miss, you can go and take care of Mr. Robinson's injuries." Xavier glared at him. "If anything happens to this man, I'll make you pay with your lives." Dax nodded fervently. "Don't worry, don't worry." Seeing Xavier and Yvonne leave, Dax wiped away the sweat on his forehead. He turned to look at Curtis on the floor before grumbling, "I'm fucking unlucky!"

“What kind of information do you want me to get for you then?” “Dax always goes to the headquarters that oversees all the activities of all his companies and their branches. I want you to get me confidential information about his companies for me. Information that will be of huge use to me because I’m going to use them against him and make him eventually lose his companies. Then I’ll buy the company and its stocks and take over after making his shareholders see that he can never be good enough” he explained in detail to me and all I did was stare at him while feeling perplexed.

Xavier: When she first mentioned the name, something in me went still. “Lorenzo D’Amaris,” Valerie said with a small, almost relieved smile, setting the file on the desk. “He’s interested in investing in the new firm. It’s all legitimate, I checked everything twice. He seems professional. Keep those hammers away from me." "And what are you going to do, Prez?" Tank asked, racking his EMP shotgun. Dax looked at the spinning magnetic rings holding the explosive heavy-water core together. I keep munching on the bacon and sausages when an unknown number calls, "Hello?" "Hey, it's Dax. I just sent you the project strategy in your email. Please go through it. The presentation is tomorrow." I almost choke on my food. I had completely forgotten about the stupid project. ×××××

Taking a deep breath, Jada forced a smile and said, "We are here, so let's talk business then. What's this new project you want to hand over to HH's incorporation?" Pausing for a moment, Xander's smirk grew wider, and he leaned back in his chair, his eyes never leaving hers. Then he said, "Ah, yes. The project. Well, it's a big one. And I think HH's incorporation is the perfect fit for it." With a calmer expression, Jada raised an eyebrow, intrigued despite herself. "And what is it?" Respecting her boundary, Xander leaned in a bit closer, his voice low and conspiratorial. "What's the rush? Let's eat first, and then we can discuss it in detail. I promise it's worth the wait."
