Striving not to lose his cool, Dax took a moment to get a grip on the anger rising in him and asked, “Why would he be at the company?” “Because he's the owner of Expo INC,” Carmen said, “That Bastard!” “Dax,” “What! Are you telling me this because you want to run back to him, now that he's climbed the social ladder?” “No, I'm telling you this because I don't want you to find out tomorrow and get angry like the way that you are now!”

Dexter continued with his speech; all he said was from his heart; he didn’t need to read anything. “With the new CEO comes new rules. Here are some business plans draughted out for the empire. We call it project 2023; these are all the plans we hoped to have achieved before 2023,” he said, and the screen changed. Dexter ruled out all the plans; he has been working on this for a while. It was originally for his company, but now he is talking about some plans that have been changed. Everyone looked at it, and they smiled, especially Julius; he was proud. These are all great ideas, and he is taking the company to the next level. What more could a father ask for?

I will be relying on your support from now on," he said with impressive poise. The twelve higher-ups began to murmur, their disdain for Dax evident. Their words were cruel and dismissive, and I felt a surge of anger. I wished I could silence them for good. I expected Dax to falter, but his eyes held a commanding presence reminiscent of Kaiden’s.

Davis raised an eyebrow skeptically, clearly not buying our story. Ignoring Davis's skepticism, I continued with a sly grin, "Yeah, you know how intense these projects can get.
