“June, I’ll charge and draw the zombies away. You take Poppy and get out of here! Head for the Northern Base! No… go to the Southern Base and find my uncle and the others!” Castiel refused to look out for us, and Lucian was unreliable. Only my uncle, currently at the Southern Base, might be able to save us. But June refused to budge. “No, Eira, I’ll distract the zombies. You take Poppy and run! I’m heavily pregnant. I won’t get far…” Just then, a zombie smashed through the air-raid shelter door and let out a bloodcurdling growl. More zombies poured in immediately after. Seeing the dire situation, June stepped forward and used her body to carve a path for us.

He jammed his finger down on the emitter’s trigger. A wave of invisible, crushing pressure slammed into the room. Cattleya screamed, her ears ringing with the sound of a thousand glass panes shattering at once. The vampires didn't die; they shrieked in agony, their bodies convulsing, their skin blistering and turning to ash where the sonic waves hit them. The room became a kaleidoscope of chaos”shattered relics, dust, pulverized stone, and the desperate, thrashing forms of the undead.

She doubted a zombie would be able to locate her there, even an advanced zombie. One of the things about zombies that stayed with them, no matter how much of their thinking and motor skills returned was the fact that they had poor night vision, depth perception, and were color blind. Those factors went in her favor since the opening to the root cellar was beneath a very realistic looking shrub that was attached to the trap door. Its coloring varied from those it was amongst only by the slightest degree and, unless you ran your hand over it, you’d never guess it wasn’t real. Combine that to the fact that it was nighttime, and she felt safe in her selection of hiding places.

They staggered from side to side at first but started charging frantically at Lucas as soon as they laid eyes on him. "Boom!" Biggy zoomed out and hurled a punch. After striking countless punches, the hundreds of zombies fell to the ground. Lucas fused all the zombies into a Level 6 male zombie and a Level 6 female zombie. Level 6 Zombies were practically useless to him now. He continued moving fury her in. The town was so terribly deserted that it made his skin crawl. All of a sudden, Lucas saw a tragic sight. There were densely packed corpses wandering the streets of the town.

Fred's severed head fell to the ground with a thud. (Author's Note: The term "I give you mercy" was from Z Nation. A TV show in America is mainly about zombies, and the show comes right after another TV show called Black Summer.) I screamed at what I saw because we are not used to seeing such a scene every day, right? Coco gagged and we hurried to leave when Uncle Jim told us to leave and that he would be the one to bury Fred. Cole was driving and Chito was next to him. Coco and I are behind them.
