I recently got a scholarship into Blackfrost Academy which only made my plans and goals so much easier. My one goal in life is to avenge my people's death, infiltrate the academy and get close to the only heir of the Thorneval bloodline who slaughtered my family till what remained was just a little girl thirsty for the enemy's blood. Here I am, Cressida Ashcroft Virelai . The only surviving witch of the Ashcroft bloodline. I've learnt how to suppress my powers for eleven good years and it wasn't easy. I couldn't let everything I've worked for for so many years go down the drain all because of these wretched rouges.

The humans look out of the window to stare at what they thought to be an eclipse while I stood up and went in search of my mate. I stood in the hallway, not knowing where to turn to, and Adal request I let him have partial control so he can help with the search for her. We went in search of her together, and our instinct led us to the front of the females' washroom. 'Are you sure about this?' I asked him and he nods his head. I was overwhelmed by the amount of power in the washroom the moment I turned the knob. The force made me stagger a couple of feet back before I regained my composure. What the hell was that?

“Good job princess.” I looked around seeing others walking into the woods. One man, a tall slim man dressed all in a black robe was burning something in the fire. The smell seemed to be white. I don’t know why white was the word that first came to me, maybe pure. I looked up at Nikko, “Is he a witch?” Nikko looked down at me, “a warlock maybe. I don’t think he would take kindly to you calling him a witch.” He arched his brow, “why Samantha are you a witch?”

Merlin’s eyes seemed to glow a fluorescent green as tiny green flames danced and flickered in their emerald depths. The dark witch was instantly back on her feet, both hands outstretched and her fists clenched tighter. Her eyes blazed with unholy blue fire, chanting loudly above the screeching of the wind as Merlin recoiled and fell, writhing, on the floor, her breaths wheezing painfully from her mouth. She choked and gasped, her hands clutching at her throat in a feverish attempt to breathe as panic seized her. Her chest was starting to burn as black dots started appearing in her vision and Merlin knew that she couldn't hold on much longer.

I hear her voice tremble with worry. "Sometimes," I said honestly. "I've never got along with any of the ones I've came across." I said crossing my arms and lounging in my chair. "Oh...why's that?" Her nervous lips quivers out. I wasn't trying to scare her the slightest. "Because, Dark Witches do a lot of dark sacrifices." Remembering back to my earlier years.... "I don't... kill anyone and I only sacrifice plants and flowers." She said tucking her hair behind her ears and taking a few sips of her wine.

The poor girl didn’t understand what we were talking about and how drastically her life would change if Dahlia was correct. “It’s just as I said, Dante. This girl, wherever you found her, is the prophecy. I saw it in my reading.” Does this mean Kira is a witch? “What if you’re wrong?’’ I countered. She may be the most powerful witch in North America, but I don’t fully trust Dahlia. With everything going on and the information gathered thus far, I don’t know whose side the witches are on. Usually, they’d like to tread the part of non-alliance but I’m not sure if their feelings are the same as they were a century ago. Within the blink of an eye, Dabria was standing in front of the woman alongside the man only Dabria could see. That man leaned towards the left side of the witch's neck. While Dabria leaned towards the right side. Both of them sank their fangs deep into the witch's neck. While Dabria drank her blood and sucked her dry. The man with Dabria ripped the witch's soul along with her powers out of her body. The witch's body fell on the floor as nothing but an empty vessel. Dabria turned to look at that man, standing beside her, holding the witch's soul with his fangs. She saw a proud smile on his face as he watched Dabria. His eyes suddenly widened and what looked like a green light, suddenly made
