Dead Wrong Book Novels & Stories

I go the book I am currently reading, it is murder mystery/ thriller, titled ‘As good as dead’ and it is very interesting and intriguing. It was about a girl about to go to college, she is Blake’s age and she had spent the past two years solving murder cases and now she is clearly traumatized since in the last book, she had a guy die in her arms. I am not far in, I just started it on the plane and I have had much time to finish the book.

Then my mind wanders off to Antonio words: "Is not really the matter of being a softy dumbass. I just find the story similar to what happened to you. I'm dead serious! You've got to read this book, perhaps after reading you can tell me if I was wrong or right" I don't know when my fingers has typed the title of the book and it's author and now I was at A****n Kindle page. In the page, the book cover is designed with white background and then it had a broken shaped hearts on the background with the title written in red 'Shattered Hearts' and it's author name below the cover Micaela Alvarado. Seeing this book again sent turbulence to my heart like in the afternoon when I'd seen it.

"Don't trust anyone if you don't want to die silly!" That was what Dannie had told her a moment ago. Ah, this might indeed be the first time Sena has met these people face to face. But to be honest, she already knew and had information about them that she got from Dannie. Sena almost laughed when she remembered a book that Dannie gave her entitled 'Walters Gang'. The book has a cover of 4 cubs eating honey. Anyone who saw the book would have thought that it was a children's book, not an important book detailing the ins and outs of the Walters family.

She threw Vivian's Antabulam at her and Vivian caught it "See for yourself" Vivian slowly opened the book. Surprisingly, the book wasn't wet in the rain. The pages were dry. She looked inside while flipping the pages. There were so many names in it but not Ethan's" She took a sigh of relief. "But...Why didn't I hear the bells of the book?" She asked "Death took it with him. He has been doing his duties and yours together. Just so that you could make your second life worth it." Fate leaned towards her and flipped the last page of writings "Was it worth it?" She smirked. Vivian looked at it with surprise. Her eyes were about to pop out.

With what he said, I gradually loosened my grip on the bedsheet until I finally let go. At that point, I suddenly remembered the children's book I had just read last night. It was entitled, The Fox and the Princess. “W-what are you saying? You're a Grim Reaper, aren't you? If you want to take me, take me now too. Don't prolong it! I don't want to live anymore and why am I here in this body? I'm dead, right? Mary Sean Ivanovich is supposed to be dead! I'm not Hailey Perelman. This is not me! It's not my body!” I hysterically uttered. It seems that when this Grim Reaper said what he said earlier, I dared to scold him.

"Oh dear... I'm really sorry. There was a mistake with the booking." "What do you mean by a mistake?" Maeve asked with a frown. The landlord opened the folder. "You both have valid contracts." "..." "..." "How did that even happen?" "I had a former assistant. He accidentally encoded the same unit twice... and confirmed both bookings." Maeve pressed a hand against her forehead. "Sir... there's only one unit." "I know." "Then why do both of us have keys?" The old man scratched his head again. "That's exactly the problem."

Inside there are black candles, several scrolls, and a thick pitch-black book. Of course, it is the book that gets my attention. I took it and inspected it if there are dents, torn pages, or mites. Fortunately, although the book looks old, it also looks new, feels new, and smells new. It has gold writings on it, Death of God. "Death of God?! How did this get to here? I am sure if Mama saw you, she's gonna burn you," I said laughing at my own jokes. See, I am not just unlucky, I am also corny and crazy.

No surprise the whole department knew our names. Hearing the chief now, though? Yeah, they'd been warned about Keyla. Just ignored it. They probably thought those warnings were planted by us—like we sent people to spy. Made them resent us even more. Their buddies had all kinds of tips on winning back a girl. Edmond and Philip didn't need advice. They just never bothered trying with us. Then, right through the noise, Edmond's voice hit like a slap. "They're dead." The room froze. "They're both dead." Total silence.

No one watching the house. At least, not that I can see. My laptop is still on the coffee table where I left it last night. I open it, log into my email. Thirty-seven new messages since last night. I scan through the subject lines: "You're going to regret this" "Crazy bitch" I delete them all without opening them. Every single one. Then I do something I probably shouldn't do, I open a news website. The top story is about a political scandal. The second is about the weather.

I wasn’t sure why, but as the vehicle came to a stop and the door opened, I couldn’t shake the feeling that this would be one of those moments that would change everything. --- We disembarked quickly, our boots hitting the ground with the soft thud of urgency. The air was thick, heavy with dust and the pungent odor of decay. We kept our heads down, moving swiftly through the narrow alleyways and darkened streets. The city had been abandoned for months now, left to rot as the infection spread.
