Dead Weight
They talk about supply chains, weather, inflation, government overreach, grid failure, civil unrest, pandemics, solar flares, fuel shortages, antibiotic resistance, crop disease, and once, memorably, dolphins.
None of them say DECAY. None of them say engineered. None of them say the dead will stand up hungry and patient and ruin the world one bite at a time.
They are all circling the same locked door, tapping the walls, arguing about paint colour.
