Evan yelled at Jamie and Jamie burst into laughter. "How did you do it Jared?" Jamie asked, excitement in his voice. "I just believe I could paralyze him and it happened, I don't understand either." Jared replied. He didn't seem excited like Jamie did. He approached Evan and with a stern look, he growled. "Where's Ruby?" "Who is Ruby?, Your little girlfriend? Don't bother she's part of us now. She led you both into this trap and this is just a tip of the iceberg," Evan scoffed.

That was what led to everything that was happening. Evan swept a glance at everyone, and his gaze eventually fell onto Chase. “Can you please release him?” “No!” Chase replied coldly. Hanks immediately explained what happened. Evan frowned when he found out Evan was being humiliated because of him. He looked at Chase and said, “My name is Evan Waterson of the Watersons. I’d like to ask that you let Wendell go on account of my family…” Chase shook his head and said, “Who do the Watersons think they are? Do you want to end up like him? If not, get out!”

Hannah says as she turns to follow Evan down the path back towards the cafeteria. "Sure. Let's go." Evan nods, pulling Hannah along with him. As they pass by one of the tables that Zoe, Alana, and Zoe's boyfriend Jared were sitting at, Jared immediately stands up and waves them down. He starts speaking excitedly when he sees Hannah standing behind Evan, and although Hannah is glad that Jared is so eager to see them, she can't help but notice that the blond boy is staring rather intently at her hand, no doubt remembering when he grabbed hold of it earlier during the play.

Jared came into the room, his arms crossed and somehow, he looked expectant, even to the extent of spreading out his arms. “Are you waiting for a hug from my daughter? I glanced at him, pulling my brows down, pretending I didn’t know what he meant. Jarred made an ‘oh’ sound and scratched his head, looking down. “Oh, yeah, that. I got carried away by what Hank said at the time. I’m sorry,” he apologized. I raised my left eyebrow, and he gave a small shake of the head, glancing at Hank. I sighed and leaned my back against the elevator wall. The doors opened on the ground floor. “I’ll call you later,” Jarred said as they stepped out, just before the doors closed. Hank stopped walking and looked back at me with sad eyes.
