“Have a great evening!” With a nod, Aurora stepped off the platform. A line of men formed, adding to Hera’s anxiety. The music was soft, reminiscent of a waltz, and her knees shook as the first man approached. Hera shot a smile at Thomas before shooting a glare at Keia. She stepped forward, allowing her first partner to guide her to the dance floor. He was on the shorter side, and his name was either Kemi or Temi—Hera couldn’t quite recall. He counted out loud as they danced, which kept him from chatting. Dancing with someone she didn’t know felt awkward, but he seemed just as uneasy.

And he stared. Kimber was currently on the dance floor at Adam Catrell’s bar, The Hang Out, swaying her sweet hips to a Shakira song about that very part of her anatomy. With thighs bared by a skirt so short it neared indecency, a strip of pale belly bared, she danced—sandwiched between Adam and his brother, Burke. Ke$ha's Tick Tock is on, and Kat slides in between us, pulling our bodies closer so I can feel the warmth resonating from her skin, and starts grinding to the beat.

He said and chuckled at his own words. "Your mother is here, Christian." Belle said to me and I looked around to find her talking to my father, uncle and cousin. "Well enjoy yourselves guys, we'll surely talk again before the ceremony is over. You owe me a dance Nat." "Sure thing. Come find me when you are ready." She replied. I saluted to her and walked away with Belle's hand in my free one.
