A man sat in a hospital room that appeared like a bedroom in a seven-star hotel. It was luxurious and contained almost everything that a bedroom should possess. The only distinguishing factors were the beeping machines and the other medical equipment attached to the slender figure lying on the bed. He looked haggard and exhausted. Black circles were evident on his handsome face that could not be hidden by them even under such circumstances. He held on to the hand of the patient lying in bed with his eyes closed.

Dede said and Alex paused in his steps. "Where is the bedroom?" Dede asked. "Upstairs, second door to your right," Alex said and left the place. Dede still had the hospital gown on. She climbed the staircase slowly and counted the doors. She found the second door but couldn't open it. The first door was slightly ajar so she entered that room instead. Inside the room was a king-size bed, a couch and a TV. A study desk and a small fridge. She was tired and with nothing to change into, she climbed onto the bed and slept off as soon as her head touched the pillow.

Anna is not big and from what Derek said barely eats at times. "yes we gotta get her weight up and the bedrest is absolutely vital now. She does not need stress and she needs better sleep. I ordered her a cloud nine bed for your room it is custom made to fit six adults and very soft comes with body pillows",he blushes as he names the features to help Anna get sleep and help on sore pressure points so she won't hurt. "thanks doc I appreciate it",I say standing wanting to go back to Anna. "Alpha do you want to tell her or should I",the doctor looks at me and I smile big when I freeze but I smile at him.

“I need to speak to Derik to see if he’s ok.” ### Derik, clad in a hospital gown, leaned back against the wall which was coated with pillows, half asleep with exhaustion and remembering his earlier encounter with T-Murek. He lay quietly, keeping his eyes closed, matching his breath to the beeping of the machines that surrounded his bed. Even though he wasn’t fully awake, he was still conscious of his surroundings.

Apparently, they’d consulted blueprints of the hospital in advance or something. After entering the building, they went straight to the maternity ward, wound through some back stairs, hijacked an employee-only elevator. A guard stood outside the authorized-personnel-only hallway they emerged from a few moments later and quickly shook Deke’s hand. Then they were down a short hall and inside her father’s room. Kimber nearly crumbled at first sight. He looked so…fragile. Still sporting muscle and the remnants of his summer tan. But all the monitors, tubes, and machinery surrounding him in that sterile bed…

Healer Tega gave a curt bow and walked off. I saw the healer approaching Beta Rowan and the Councilor. I saw Beta Rowan turning to question the healer, and then I slipped into the room where Derek lay shirtless on a bed with machines beeping next to him. He looked peaceful, like he was only sleeping, and I wished it were the case, that he was merely sleeping. I approached the bed and, ignoring the chair next to the bed, I sat on the edge of his bed and gently stroked his hair. He was barely alive, and it seemed his pulse was becoming weaker and weaker, too.

The walls are dressed in rich, muted tones, perhaps a deep navy blue, adding depth and a sense of intimacy. The centerpiece of the room is a plush, king-sized bed adorned with fine linens and accent pillows. The bed frame is crafted from exquisite materials like polished metal, exuding a sense of timeless elegance. The headboard is intricately upholstered in sumptuous fabric, providing a luxurious backdrop for rest and relaxation.

There is a wooden recliner chair on the deck by the glass sliding doors with pretty yellow cushions on it, decorated in daisies. “Your room for the next couple of weeks.” “Oh, my it’s beautiful. I’ve never even been to a hotel that has rooms like this one.” It is pretty, the walls are painted duck egg blue, the bedspread is matching with a throw over quilt that Cody told me his mother made from old clothes of his and his father’s. A white rocking chair sits in the corner with cushions to match the chair on the deck. A dressing table is on the right wall with pull out balloon backed chair, the fabric in duck egg blue to match the walls. I can see why it’d take Luna’s breath away.

Alec POV Sitting on the edge of the custom-made bed I had spent a small fortune on, I looked around at the room; it was beautiful, fit for royalty. The bed alone was exquisite, built into the wall, made of dark blue crushed velvet, with soft purple sheets; the walls surrounding it had carvings sprayed in gold that told the story of our pack and its heritage. The room's high ceilings and rich blues and purples gave it an exotic vibe I loved.

Duke walks next to me as we follow Lewis. When Lewis opens the door I gasp. The walls are painted white there are lights in ceiling that dim. The bed is an Alaskan King with four pillars, covered in ocean blue satin, with twelve or more pillows piled at the head. The curtains are a midnight blue with white lace detail over the solid backing. All the furniture is white with dark blue outlines. The rug is cream with a blue print of flowers. There is a vanity, dresser with two mirrors, the doors to the closet and bathroom are carved solid oak. There is a small midnight blue love seat by the window.
