The Bait, The Ruin

The Bait, The Ruin

WELLINGTON'S POV When my eyes slowly flutter open, the first thing I see is Dahlia. She’s sitting beside the couch where I’m lying, her head bent awkwardly to one side, supported by both hands folded beneath her chin as exhaustion drags her into a restless sleep. Her hair spills over her shoulder, partly hiding her face, but I still see the faint redness around her swollen eyes. She’s been crying again. The sight twists my chest. For a long moment, I just watch her quietly, not daring to move or touch her because I know she sleeps lightly, just like me. Any slightest movement, she’ll wake up, probably pretending she wasn’t exhausted enough to collapse beside the same man she claims she doesn

Kidnapped By The Lycan Prince

Caspian’s hand finds my thigh under the table, his fingers warm and firm as I let out a small, uncertain sound, somewhere between a nervous chuckle and a soft “yes.” He runs a reassuring stroke up and down my thigh twice and let's go with a pat. I'll read that as a signal to play along. Rowan's shock morphs into disgust. "You’re mated to this...thing?" "'This thing' has a name," Caspian says coolly. "Delilah. Who is a person, not a thing. She’s Princess Delilah now. Soon-to-be Queen Delilah. I would mind my tongue if I were you."

Carrying The Alpha's Heir

Carrying The Alpha's Heir

Rhea, sensing Delilah's emotional reaction, apologized, "We didn't feel it was necessary. And I thought one day Noah will tell you on his own if needed. I am sorry if you feel hurt thinking we hid this from you." "Please, Rhea. Don't be sorry," Delilah reassured her, the room now filled with a mix of shared secrets and unspoken truths. Delilah's mind buzzed with thoughts on how to uncover more about Noah's past, understanding that beneath the surface, there were layers waiting to be unveiled. ____ [Hello lovely readers! DELILAH'S DIRTY SECRET

DELILAH'S DIRTY SECRET

Said the unfamiliar voice. "Camila?" I asked, surprised. I've never heard the name Camila and I definitely have no idea who the fuck that is, but then I had to open despite the risk. As soon as I saw Delilah's helpless body in his arms, I couldn't help but scream mentally. How the fuck did she get that name?! Did she just tell him her name is Camila? I can't even recall Delilah ever telling me for once that she has a second name, Camila. But then, there's got to be a reason why she had to lie about her name.

All the journalists wanted to fight for the first-hand news. Lily stepped forward to calm them down. The venue only regained its peace after a while. "We have solid proof that Delilah committed plagiarism! She stopped writing more after releasing the last book of the Whirling Lights series. Many thought that she had exhausted her talent, but in reality, she only managed to steal nine drafts of Dancing Lights. She failed to steal the tenth book, which is the finale! "My student, Anya Campbell, was a talented writer, but Delilah killed her! She even replaced her daughter with someone else, causing her to live a hard life…"

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

The Hybrid Baby Daddy 【AC1】

The Hybrid Baby Daddy 【AC1】

He glared at her pale face one last time and then marched away from her. Delilah, before closing the door, peeked to both the sides of the hallway and then locked the door. Ever since she saw Dallin into that form, she had a hard time sleeping or eating as her stress level and the nightmares had disturbed her pattern of eating and her sleep schedule as well. “I hope I find you here at least,” Delilah read the address on the piece of paper she wrote down in the internet café. It’s not like she hated Dallin, she was just not sure what her eyes saw. After that night, she thought about it countless times, coming up with theories about him and the one closed to his situation was that,

Bend me over, Professor

“It was… good.” Delilah narrowed her eyes, not buying it. “Good? That’s it? Girl, you were gone all night, showed up this morning in yesterday’s hoodie, and you’re walking like you just left a yoga retreat and a warzone at the same time. You better cough up some details.” I rolled my eyes, laughing softly. “Fine. It was better than good.” Her eyes lit up, and she let out a dramatic gasp. “Oh my god. Did he do stuff like Christian Grey?”

The Wife

The Wife

If she ever escaped this place, Delilah promised herself that she would get an indoor library in her house. If she ever got a house. She already got the extra room in her house filled up with shelves of books too, so that counted as a mini library. Her stomach rumbled and she decided that it was time for her to leave the library. She placed the books she had and decided to pick up a book titled Guide To Demons and another romance novel to read for the night. On her way down, she ran into Eriel. “Guide to demons?” Eriel chuckled. Delilah noticed how tall he was, as usual, and wondered if other supernatural species had that kind of height too. Was it just humans who were ridiculously small?

[Years Later] After Delilah’s death was confirmed three years ago, the world had moved on. Her name was barely remembered except by a few Ava, Adrian, and Chase. To everyone else, she was a story long forgotten. But Delilah hadn’t stayed dead. She returned under a new identity, carrying with her the only treasure she had left…Riley. Her little girl was now old enough to walk, talk, and light up every room with her charm. Riley had inherited almost everything from Delilah, her warmth, her smile, her spirit. But her eyes… those were not Delilah’s.

I'm trying so hard not to doubt her. “Bet you’re good in bed,” Cheryse purred, leaning closer. “Delilah? Total whore. Obsessed with Caleb since she was a kid. Never died, that obsession. And now Caleb’s after her… she’s going to fall right into his arms.” Something dark flickered inside me. The kind of darkness that made me want to snap her neck. She had always been a thorn in Delilah’s side back in college, and now… now, she was testing me. But Jon wouldn’t approve if I killed someone in his house. Delilah wouldn’t approve. That mattered more than anything.
