روايات وقصص ضمن Haunting Adaline

" Adeline shouted and tried to stand, but her knees shook with a strange intensity. She fell back. "Watch how you deteriorate slowly. The wound on your back will speed up the action, and that wound will start spreading till you die in three hours. No one is coming to save you anyways. See you in hell." Poe waved, walking out of the basement. "Poe!!!!!" Adeline screamed helplessly on the ground as the door closed.

】 【TIME REMAINING: 4 Days】 My phone vibrated. It was a message from Chloe. 【Chloe】: Ava, it's just the three of us now~ 【Chloe】: I think we should team up. 【Chloe】: After all, the ghosts out there are getting more and more dangerous. I raised an eyebrow. 【Ava】: How do we team up? 【Chloe】: I heard there's a secret room in the mansion's basement. 【Chloe】: It has the key item to clear the game.

I reached for the red lever, my fingers fumbling with the safety catch. I looked at Nancy one last time. Her eyes snapped open. They weren't brown like mine. They were a piercing, glowing violet. She slammed her palms against the glass from the inside, the sound like a gunshot in the small room. A crack appeared in the center of the tank, spreading like a spiderweb across the surface. The glass exploded. Halfway through the procedure Hailey's vision blurs and she sees something — flashes of a white room, a child crying, two small hands reaching for each other. She gasps. Lena steadies her. When it's over Hailey sits up s lowly and whispers, "I remember her. I remember being with her."

Personally, I wished she’d excluded me from the guest list entirely. But here I was, standing in a bright, fabulous living room after spending the night trapped in total darkness. Last night felt like a dream. No, a nightmare—but the bruises on my mind told me it was entirely real. Somehow, I’ve made a terrifying deal with Riven, or whatever the hell his name is. That man isn’t normal. His actions were psychotic. But I have to— "Adelina!"

Damn, she had me all messed up in mere minutes of interacting with her. “What do you think about the proposal, Eliot?” Adaline asked. She was a business partner and an ally, the female Alpha of the Morning Moon Pack. A true seductress, she knew how to use her beauty to gain more territory and protection. She ran a firm and tight pack, but my interest in her was mainly due to her ancestry. She descended from a rare lineage of wolves called dire wolves, which had long been extinct. They were superior to werewolves and had unique skills, including the power to absorb energy. This talent would prove helpful in my plans. I have been observing and testing Adaline for years without her knowledge, y

“Right now your aunt needs our help, and the longer we take to save her, the more dangerous things become. All I need is for you to tell me every–” She opened the door, staring at me with those cold looking eyes that felt like she was going to do worse than just killing me. “There were four of them, all dressed in black tuxedos. And a fifth, also in black, but he had a cane and a hat that barely covered his eyes. Aunt Emi asked me to hide in my room, but I heard every conversation they had that night. It seemed like she knew them, only that she didn't expect to see them in such weird appearance.” “The guy in hat, you didn't see his face, did you?” I asked, and she shook her head.

Where is he and his parents keeping my parents locked away? I was seated facing him when a young maid entered with a steaming tray. As soon as I glanced at her face, I froze. I recognized that face as I saw it before my death, staring and laughing at me. That smile. That wary sideways look as she turned. She was one of Alaric's spies in my previous life—a faithful small rat who brought the poisoned teas and grinning treachery beyond her apron. I just gave her a thankful nod, yet within me, I put the first name on my kill list—the first soul to strike off. And as I started to take the plate, the voice of Kitara, my wolf, rumbled in my head as a warning.

It wasn’t confirmed yet, but in our world, it wasn’t impossible either, especially when that man made a deal with the devil or was the devil himself. We ended the day. Hendrix and Hunt went back to their work while we drove back to the pack house after we made sure that Milka was fully recovered. She was supposed to go home, but she insisted on coming with me. I thought it was because she wanted me to come to her when I was pulled into Kaiser’s world, but I was wrong. “I saw you, Adeline,” she said after I closed the door when we entered my room. “What?” I asked, “I saw you standing next to the man who was found dead at your border.”

Ximena/Angela’s POV Aunt Sadie remained silent until Penelope had finished with Raven and put her to sleep. “I don’t know why, but I feel the need to help Hudson get out of there. Something tells me that if he doesn’t get out soon, something terrible might happen. Remember how Mila ended up,” Aunt Sadie explained after Penelope left. “Do you think Adeline’s ghost is involved?” I asked awkwardly. “I don’t believe in ghosts or resurrection. Adeline is gone, but her conspirators are still alive,” she said firmly, as if she knew exactly who was behind everything.

Though petite in stature, her presence exuded a quiet confidence, and her hands, slightly calloused, suggested she was no stranger to hard work. “I am Adalyn,” said the second, her voice calm and steady. She had warm chestnut hair that fell in loose waves around her shoulders, complementing her hazel eyes flecked with gold. Her complexion was fair but sun-kissed, and a few faint freckles dotted her cheeks. Her demeanor was both motherly and composed, with an air of reliability that promised she could handle any task with precision.
