Andrew Chambers, Delta, always believed that he should and deserved to be a part of the Shadow family and have a higher rank than his lowly Delta position. Deltas were the ones to help the Gamma with training and could move up in Delta ranks, but this was not enough for him. Where did he get this idea from? He got it from his grandfather, James Chambers, one of Elders of the Shadow Mountain pack. James always believed that as an Elder his family deserved the best and to be the best you had to be at the top. Since Andrew was his only grandchild, he would encourage him to get close to the Alpha, Beta and Gamma pups.

Alexander walked up to the podium and fell in line with the other four Betas. Benji swore them in and did the blood oath. They were now bound by blood and a betrayal of our pack or leadership would mean certain death. “Next, we have our Gammas, Gamma Josh Albright, Gamma Brandt Jones, and Gamma Erin Nawders. When he was gone I turned back to Trent. “When is the meeting?” I asked. “This weekend,” Trent said. “That doesn’t leave us with much time,” I said. “No, it doesn’t,” Trent said. “How many Deltas do we have here at Dark Moon?” I asked. “There are four, Alpha,” Trent answered. “If their are four Deltas, that would mean that the surrounding lands are split into four… You will be my acting Gamma until Mavelin takes her place as Gamma. At that point, you will take the title and rank of Head Delta,” I said.

The crowd of villagers parted and the man who was an Alpha glared at me, his lip curling up in hostility. “And who the fuck are you to tell an Alpha what to do, little wolf?” he growled. “I’m the Delta’s Daughter and I’m telling you now, unhand these villagers or this man will unleash my beast,” I said, pointing at Rhett who was gathering himself off the ground. That was always my answer when I was asked who I was. Not Alpha, not Queen, but the Delta’s Daughter. That was the name I had become known as throughout the werewolf kingdom and beyond: The Delta’s Daughter, a title that was fast becoming a legend.

Before everything burned. By six, there’s a knock and Rachel steps in like she owns the place. What am I supposed to say? Oh, I ruined his life and he ruined mine and now we’re… whatever the hell this is? Instead, I just give a weak shrug and she huffs like she expected something more dramatic.

She knows Theo, and I can smell the distinct scent on her as we glance silently at each other, amusement betraying us. "Not a word," Charity growls, clearly cranky about whatever happened between them, but both of us know better than to antagonize her. The leader of this chapter was called Theo and h was the one who sheltered Rachel as a young child at Abicus's request. "Welcome home child, what brings you here after so long.?" "Theo" She managed to become an excited child in three seconds of seeing this man. A side of her I was afraid she lost but luckily that's not the case. We gathered in the meeting room of his den to talk and discuss things but it was grim. "Unfortunately things are just that dire out here. With our main Alpha chapter gone the others have started trying to seize power for themselves. Bloodshed and many pointless deaths have taken place already."

Sofia relayed to the gathering of the Alphas. There was murmuring and arguments in the Alpha's hall. The Alpha of the Usobo clan, a clan almost as fierce as the Mackenzie clan and on the far side of the South said she should be found and killed, while the Marja's Alpha (one of the battle fierce Alpha with a clan not too far from the Mackenzie clan and are referred to as the Red wolves because most of the wolves there has a red coat when they turn), argued that the Epsilon can be used to eradicate the Vamps ones and for all.
