It was very quiet inside due to the off-peak time with no visible customers and the seating area was separated into booths. That suited her purpose. She sat at the back of the café and turned to Caiden. “What’s wrong?” she asked quietly. “There is a demon attached to one of them. He appeared when you walked past them,” Caiden told her in a tense tone. Clara gasped in surprise. She had never expected one of the bullies to also have a demon at their side. Why was one of them contracted to a demon?
