"Ugh ..." With all their might, they covered their ears, trying to avoid the terrifying screams emanating from the underground. "Grraaaaooorrr ..." For 20 seconds, the screaming continued. Dante began to feel intense pain in his ears as he kept hearing the cries of the demons who were rebelling for release. "Ugh ..." Dante fell on his knees while continuing to cover his ears with his hands. After the screaming stopped, all that was left was the excruciating pain. Dante was crying, he could not bear the pain. Gavin looked at it, noticing that blood was pouring out of his ear.

"Are you okay?', a voice asked. It was Lola. I wiped the tears from my face with the back of my palms, sniffing . I stood to my feet and flushed the toilet, I stalled in the toilet hoping that when I come out she'll be gone but she was there when I came out. "OMG! Ibims, are you okay?". Why act like you care? "Yes, I'm fine". "Then, why you crying? You can talk to me y'know". Her voice was so nice, for a second I almost told her why I was crying. "Fucking cramps! ". I force a laugh from my lips. "Shit, I know, right?. Mine is such a bitch sometimes, I wish I was born a boy". She said a bit convinced now.

Sam's hand left my leg, and suddenly, my demon let out a piercing scream of terror, collapsing to the ground, his face contorted in agony. Confusion washed over me as I instinctively leaned back, scanning my surroundings for any signs of an attack. "AAAAAAAAAHHH!" The demon's agonising cry echoed through the air, assaulting my ears. "What's happening?" I asked, bewildered, desperately seeking an explanation.

Demons aren’t supposed to cry. Are you a succubus? I’ve never encountered a succubus before.”

He fell on his knees grunting in pain. I walked closer to the elders circle, I want to see for myself the death of Lucas. He stopped! He stopped his cries of pain, he made no sound. He just knelt there, is he dead?? It wasn’t loud at first, just little ripples of laughter, then it got louder with each passing seconds… He stood up on his feet, staggered a bit like a drunkard, laughing so thunderously. “You dumb girl.” He roared changing into his demon self.

I could only remember looking at its dark-violet eyes, and I felt sick that I instantly threw up. Maybe if I closed my eyes, this version of my demonic husband will disappear… Maybe if I pretended that it wasn’t happening at all, that I wasn’t feeling pained beyond belief, all of these things would fade away… Those were the only thoughts that filled my head... Perhaps due to shock, I did not realize that I was that person who was sobbing so sloppily, mixing everything up with my own saliva, sweat, and vomit.

The black smoke formed faces that looked like people in agony—probably the souls she had taken. I keep on overpowering her with the will of God as I take steps close to her. The demon’s voice changed simultaneously from that of an old woman to that of a small girl and back to a young teenage boy all the voices were screaming one thing “She belongs to us!”

The memories of his screams were still too raw, reliving the blinding pain, another form of never-ending torture. Breaking down in front of Demetri...he shuddered at the thought and wrapped his arms tightly around his body even as he felt moisture in his eyes and knew he was going to cry again. He never cried and yet now, he found tears only a moment away far too often and it was a struggle to keep them at bay. He was an Elder, a formidable vampire and now he wept like a baby reliving the experiences of the last few days over and over as if watching a movie looping endlessly.
