Third Person's POV The Astral Planet is a world where monsters roam freely. A place where they throw the worst of the worse. A complete opposite of the Celestial Planet, which can be described as an ethereal or sacred world. Within its dangerous and toxic territory, there stands its only Kingdom. Where even the meanest monster strays away from this place, making it a safe zone to live. They aren't avoiding it because of the strong energy emitting from the land but rather they are afraid of its ruler, the Dark Queen.

What is Pete actually planning to do to me at that ceremony? I move to the small bookshelf in my room, searching for anything about demons or dark magic. Most of the books are romance novels and etiquette guides, useless for my purposes. But tucked at the back, I find a thin volume on supernatural creatures. I flip through pages frantically until I find a short section on demons. The text is brief, clearly sanitized for general reading, but it gives me fragments of information. "Demons are entities from the Lower Realms, capable of manifesting in the physical world only through complex rituals. They require anchors to maintain corporeal form and powerful vessels to contain their essence."

Demons are parts of darkness, and sooner or later, it will claim me, unless I manage to remain human. They stopped at the scene that I had carefully prepared for them. A daring leap into the center of the squad, and I landed right behind one of the pursuers. These shaven-headed beasts should not exist in my world. Demon's blood sang a battle cry in my veins.
