CHAPTER XXIV: I am Home Archmistress Demia stomped her long staff on the ground. Then, a big gray pentagram emerged underneath the cross I am hanging on. She was really serious when she said she will exorcise Mammon inside me. But the only way to do that is to kill his host, meaning she’s planning to kill me. “How dare you hide the truth from us, Cerina! You just have formed a blood pact with a demon? I can’t believe you!” she angrily uttered at me. I lifted my head and looked at her straight in the eyes.

I grabbed her arm, yanked her aside, stormed into the bathroom, slammed the door shut, and collapsed onto the toilet. What followed… should be classified as a war crime. A demonic roar echoed off the walls as the toilet nearly cracked beneath me. My wings flapped involuntarily from the sheer pressure. It felt like Hell itself was being exorcised from my intestines. “Hey, Paimon?” Alice chirped from behind the door. “Are you pooping?” “Shut up! I need to concentrate!” She giggled. “I didn’t think demons even needed to poop.” “Of course we fucking poop! What do you think we are—ethereal gas clouds?!”

If she knew that she could start to transform naturally because of what she did with the two of them, she would have looked for other alternatives to have them eating out of her hand. And the person who had set the clogs running for all these events was dead. A thought came into her mind. What if Dennis would be at risk with her in there? “Sir! What if Dennis would be at risk coming with me?” Delilah asked. “Beloved, that is the house of God. You don’t need to worry about that as you’re going to go through enough cleansing. And your friend would not die. Might get injured when the demon is trying to escape, but he won’t die.” The man in white responded.

He stood there until the demon approached him with his most qualified move. The demon proceeded with an indissoluble rope, which, according to him, was probably fit to capture the king of hell, and then what had to happen had happened. Alexander’s standing was his weakest phase, where he brought his devil to the zenith to crush the outnumbered demons if they stopped him from reaching Bella. The demon was forcefully stopped by an invisible levitation, sank to his knees, and fell to the ground. The pain was crushing his bones, could be heard, his scales slowly scorching as his eyes looked at Alexander in terror, knowing his end had come.

Lucifer building "Someone is summoning the White Diamond" Mr George said. "And who could that be?" Mrs Marley asked back angrily. "The only person that can summon that White Diamond is the Beast and his aim is to send us all back to hell, for us never to come out again" He replied. "Let's trace where the powerful White light is emanating from" Mrs Marley replied and She and Mr George with seven Demons disappeared outside the Lucifer building heading to where the light is coming from.

"Is that... why the blood in your body disappeared and you vanished from my unit? I was going to ask for help." Linus nodded and whispered, "Let me take you home." Millicent silently agreed and they left the building together. *** "In the last few weeks, there was news that a new demon has appeared in the city. He goes around killing people for no reason and no one can stop him because of his power and speed. He has a special ability which makes him immortal because of it." The news anchor tells the details more and Millicent just looked at Linus.

The dark cloud that had loomed over Alex's soul grew denser, and with each passing day, the demon lurking inside him gained strength. Its malevolent presence seeped into his thoughts, tainting his actions with a sinister allure. Alex had fought against it, but now, it seemed as if the demon's grip on his very essence was tightening, suffocating him. He noticed Alex was starting to know more about things, meaning he already knew about the trick he was playing with his mind. The demon possessed him and started ordering everyone to get the sacrifice ready fast so he could come in his full self.

With a sigh, El-Kharis turned away from the sleeping princess and slipped out of the room, closing the door softly behind him. In the dimly lit hallway, a group of demons approached, their eyes glinting with suspicion and curiosity. One of them, a tall demon with rough, scarred skin and glowing red eyes, stepped forward. "Lord," he growled, "we heard rumors of a human in the castle. Is it true?" El-Kharis's eyes narrowed. "It is none of your concern," he replied, his voice cold. "Leave now." The demon scoffed. "None of our concern? After what the humans have done to us? We deserve to know!"
