“I’ll be seeing you soon, my little love birds. Unlike your poor friend here.” The demon’s cackle rang out from the lips of the Air Sorcerer before his face contorted into that of excruciating pain, the cackle giving way to a blood-curdling scream.

But what really caught my attention was the genuine smile on Damien's face, sending a quick shock wave down my bone marrow. "You left home and you didn't bother to check up," she said, playfully stroking his cheeks as Damien burst into laughter, deepening my confusion. With a smile, he handed her the bouquet of roses. Is this some kind of movie? Does this demon really laugh like that? Different thoughts raced through my head all at once as I continued watching them in nothing but confusion, especially Damien. "You know that's not true, I do call," he quickly defended, and they both burst into laughter. I could hear the woman's giggles too. It seemed like they were in their own little world,

"You really are a demon! Lightning fist," BOOOOOMMMMM...

"Glaaad… you… are still… the same… cold devil." She laughed, a wet, maniacal sound.

All those while, our biggest problem looked like Lana but now, she may even be an ally compared to whatever was making that deadly scream. “Hahahaha.” Crazy laughter like the coming of the end of the world rang out. A dark shadow flashed quickly, rushing towards Ann in particular. I leaned down, following closely behind them. I saw a demon that looked like a half smiling, half crying face. ‘What atrocity is on that face?’ “Damnit.” Lana cursed and fell backwards, a glare from that demon creature knocked her out. The eerie shadow looked to my direction, its red eyes piercing right into my soul.

“I said get on your knees.” I finally get my voice back, and I scream as loud as I can, shrill and piercing. Cicero just stands there staring at me, looking quite intrigued and amused as I scream, one of his hands tightened on my hair. Once I stop, he starts laughing. It’s the type of laughter that gets his shoulders and entire body shaking. When he stops, he looks at me, his face angelic and sweet instead of demonic because he’s obviously a demon. The sides of his eyes crinkle from laughter. “You’re such a bad girl for screaming,” he says, surprisingly releasing his hold on my hair. “You want to go?” he asks.

he murmured, tilting his head toward the piano. "Promise you won't laugh at me if it turns out to be awful," I said, glancing at him. "I don't know how to laugh or smile... so be rest assured that it won't happen," he replied. He doesn't know how to laugh or smile? Is that even possible for a human not to have any emotion? Demon wasn't a complete human, anyways. I have never seen him smile, not even a little bit. I wonder what happened to him for him to lose the ability to smile.

He continued to scream. The demon looked over him, before bursting into laughter. The laughter was to mock him, and waste his time. Klaus Lavon knew this. He glared at the demon and squeezed his neck even harder. Yet, he would not budge. "Kill me if you want," he started to speak, allowing a bitter chuckle to escape his lips. "But what's done is done. You cannot fight him, he has your silly human female in his possession, and he is stronger than you know."

I took a bit of the pancake. Oh! I forgot too, she was only doing me the favour of being happy. Urggh!!! Whatever... She laughed, her voice sounding like an Alto hymn. I felt embarrassed for liking it. "You know, one day I'm gonna make myself be the first thing you'd ever see. " I said causing her to laugh again, " Do you use an alarm. " She shook her head... I hummed... " Lora, it's time you stop seeing me as a human. We demons prefer doing things in the dark, it's a lot much easier for us. "

My chest heaved as I spoke. The demon tilted its head, and then a dark, throaty, mocking sound that rolled out of its mouth like poison. The sound made Seraya’s mum nearly collapsed, her knees buckling as she sank back down into the chair, her face pale, eyes wide, clutching at herself as if the laugh alone had drained her strength. It made me realize that even if the demon left her body, she would never remain the same again.
