Alpha Derek's POV I didn't know how but I was able to control the demon inside me. I had only sunk my claws into her neck, and at the sight of her blood, the demon inside of me suppresses. The side on which I had cut immediately healed up but has a scar. She must've been a local for her to heal up instantly. Since I was from the demon clan, no matter how fast and strong the werewolf's inner power might be, he or she can never heal from my slash.

She said with a serious voice. "Whipped? People are whipped here?" I asked with wide, disbelieving eyes. She nodded. "Darling, these are demons. They are not good creatures. They are revengeful, possessive and strong beings. Do not get on their bad side. They commit horrible, horrible things. The King had a prisoner from the human realm the other day. I turn away and head toward my rooms, feeling eyes on me the moment I step inside. “You might as well come out,” I sigh, leaning back against my desk. "Human... how are you..." Lucien Desrosiers, the Demon King of the dark court, took one stunned step back. The noise behind him died at once.
