“I almost did.” “Please, Leon. She was just messing with you. Concubae are selfish, cruel, bitches. She was using your attraction to her to distract you. And it fucking worked.” Another man spat angrily. I grinned. Sounded like my type of woman. Over the last couple months, I’d heard bits and pieces about the demon queen. All the incubi who trekked through the forest did was complain about how she’d stolen their king and made him weak. Turned him against them. Part of me wished I could’ve met this queen, but she’d died fighting. Like a true warrior.

And very special thanks to my mom, Kim McCauley, for everything she has done for me. Please leave a review on the main page of the book! The following is a brief synopsis of the second book, 'The Demon Queen's Duty'. Madison Coto, Vasilia, vigilante, and mate of the werewolf king, Duncan Stanford, has been living with the Vasili, Anders Damon, for one month under the guise of being bound by his order. In this time, she's made a deal to let him woo her.

“This marks the sixth death in two months. The Council has yet to identify the group calling themselves the ‘Rogue Cell,’ led by the mysterious ‘Monster Queen.’ Fear is gripping the Alpha Elite as the killer continues to bypass the most advanced security systems in Nocturna…” I scoffed and muted the screen. "The Monster Queen. What a ridiculous name." "She’s efficient, Kaelen," Silas reminded me. "No DNA. No footprints. Just bodies." The elevator opened to the penthouse of Lord Aaron, a man who had spent his life hoarding riches and looking down on the weak. Now, he was slumped over his desk, his eyes wide with a terror that had frozen on his face. The room was covered in blood. Whoever did

"Wearing a crown. Coiled around a broken sword." Varek took one slow step back. Boots bolted to the floor. "That line is dead," Varek said. The words came out like gravel. "The Sovereign King and his wife burned in the Sector Four sweeps. Ten years ago. There was no child." "The girl is twenty," Tor said. Voice coming back now. Harder. Like he'd made a decision. "She grew up in Sector Four. She fights with the Sovereign form... you saw it yourself in the hallway. And her father isn't hiding from a shipping debt." Something moved in Tor's face. Something complicated and old and guilty. "He's a Royal Guard. He's been keeping her buried in the outer rim for ten years to keep her breathing."

Every noble gave way for him to walk through. Roman moved through the crowd effortlessly. Lysan's hand tightened on the glass. He had seen that smile a thousand times, in battle fields, in his nightmares, everywhere. But here, no one knew what that smile hid. Dyleon whispered softly to Lysan. “Wow, so that's the famous Demon prince, Roman Da'Luca.” “Yeah.” “They say he's gonna be the next Demon king.” Dyleon's eyes trailed Roman. “But, mere looking at him, he doesn't seem like someone who could cause terror.”

No, that is the last thing I would do, but because I fear myself. There was a moment of silence before Dwayne's thick voice filled the room, "We are gathered here today to anoint my chosen into her rightful place as queen of the lycanthropes. She shall, from this day onward, rule along side me til death do us part", he said and the heaviness of his words hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm going to be the Queen of the lycanthropes? The Luna queen? Holy shit! "Now Daphne, if you'll repeat after me... I- say your full name". If not for the seriousness of this occasion, I would've repeated exactly what he said, "I Daphne Penelope Ro-", I get cut off by a voice inside my head,

It snapped my focus away from the painting, and I continued toward the doorway. I stopped just outside and pressed myself flat against the wall, listening in. There were at least three different voices, maybe more, but I couldn’t tell for sure. “Our queen has defiled herself by sleeping with a beast and birthing demon spawn. By God, her soul is likely already damned to hell.” “Quiet! Cursing the queen in dark corners won’t accomplish anything. We need action. That’s the only path forward," another voice replied. “Yes," a third agreed. “Maybe an herbal mixture to make her barren? That way no more abominations would crawl out from between her legs.”

she smiled, and I chuckled. "Yeah, I have met him before." I joked, and she leaned into my touch. "Over there are: Arman and Ava, you met them when we visited the Dragon Vault." She said, and I nodded. I knew I had met them before, but somehow I couldn´t pinpoint where... "Dom and Aisling, he is the Demon King, and his Queen is Uncle Arran´s daughter -dragon-" she said, and I nodded, trying to get all the details in.

It simply watched. A deep unease settled over her. Because she did not recognize it... She was Demeter. Daughter of Titans. One of the oldest gods in existence. There were few beings she did not know. Fewer still that could stand before her and remain hidden. Yet as she stared into the darkness beyond the glass, she realized she had no idea what she was looking at. For the first time in centuries, genuine fear tightened around her heart. Not fear for herself. Fear for the girl. Fear for every Spring Daughter who had come before, and for all those who would inevitably come after. Fear that the tragedies she had spent centuries trying to understand had never been accidents at all. That somethi

Zemia replied. Alora pulled herself out of his arms. She stared at him with fear and shock. “What?!.” Alora exclaimed, before Zemia could say a word she attacked him with a question. “The underworld?!.” “Yes!, I am the Demon king and you are the queen to be!.” Zemia replied. “No!!, no way!, I can’t be a demon queen!.” Alora exclaimed. “Baby!, you don’t have to live there! you can become a model and a queen of this world! it’s your choice!.” Zemia replied with a gentle and tender tone.
