With the amulet he gave me, none of the people would recognize me as the Demoness Alpha. He casted a spell on it that could make me look like someone else in the eyes of people for the time being.

The man fell to the ground, screaming in pain while Ares just rolled his eyes and threw the eyeball on the ground and stomped on it because squatting in front of the man. He grabbed the man by the hair and lifted his head up so they were eye leveled. “I told you I don’t do second chances but you are someone I’ve known for so long so I don’t want to kill you off just like that but if you don’t find a way to get me rid of this demon the next time we meet, I won’t just be taking away your other eye but also your life. Got that?” He pushed the man to the ground as he stood up then turned to Cornelius with a groan.

“Come on we have to rendezvous with Gamma Jess!” Violet said as she started back towards the packhouse. “It's about to get... messy here.” She grinned to herself as she took aim at a rogue who was trying to catch a fleeing pack member and ended his life. “The Demon is coming.” As she came up on the packhouse she noticed three of her pack meet her and rushed Ron and Matthew to their hiding spot. Gesturing for Atlas to give him his hand the pair vanished and reappeared outside of Faelon's parent's house. "My parents are home, I can see my father through the window," Faelon growled roughly. Running up the stairs without care, Atlas knocked on the door. Faelon slapped his forehead at the brazen reaper but headed up the stairs. Raven, Faelon's mother answered the door and narrowed her eyes at them both. "Is Cora here?" Faelon inquired bluntly. Frowning, she shook her head. "No and why are there demon names written all over you son?" She questioned sourly. Atlas smiled at him and shuddered seeing Dagon come up behind her and run his eyes down Faelon's exposed flesh.

He looked at me in shock and I could see the fear in his eyes when he looked at my arm. "Demon." I heard him say before running away from my room. I just asked why he seems to be scared. Who is the demon? Me? What is a demon by the way? Then when I got dressed I went out of the room and went to the kitchen, I saw a knife fall to the floor so I took it but I immediately let it go and closed my eyes because I saw something in my mind again. I saw the face of my mom and the girl with the horns again, mom was holding a knife and stabbed that girl with the horns, the girl did not know because she was sleeping.

Before Vargos could even register the insult or make a move, Raven dropped down and grabbed him by the throat with an iron grip. Using full force, Raven began sucking the life force straight out of him, doing the exact same thing Zariel had done to Maera earlier. Vargos screamed as his skin instantly withered and shriveled up, turning into a dried-out mummy in a matter of seconds.

I tried to breathe but the bastard had its entire weight on my body, crushing my ribs and digging its claws into my arm. Snarling, I placed the palm of my hand on the ground. The runes on my arm burned red as the earth began to rumble. I turned to the demon and smiled as chains erupted from the ground. They shot through the monster's flesh, severing through its body fat and slicing off one of its breasts. I closed my eyes as a rain of flesh and vile blood rained down on me. I was going to need another fucking bath. I rolled onto my feet, my breath ragged as I scanned for the last monster. “Thrakos," I called as more chains curled out of my runes.
