HIS POISONOUS POSSESSION
It wasn't a broadcast from me; it was an intrusion.
I stood up, my gaze fixed on the horizon where the black ocean met the gray ash of the sky. Dante stood beside me, his hand resting on his pistol, his eyes narrowing.
A massive, unflagged obsidian ship appeared on the horizon. It didn't emerge from the clouds; it seemed to tear its way through the very fabric of the atmosphere. It was ten times the size of the messenger ship, a floating fortress of dark metal and silent power.
"They're back," Dante hissed, his knuckles white. "Get inside, Ivy. Now."
