Each demon possessed a unique appearance, reflecting their individual nature and power. The first demon stood tall and imposing with ebony skin and fiery crimson eyes. The scent of the demon was stronger now, a sharp, acrid odor that filled the air. The demon stood in the center of the hut, unmoving, like a grotesque statue. The other three demons were crouched, and growling like rabid dogs, their saucerlike eyes glowing with a manic light. One of them let out a loud howl like a wolf and pounced towards Cassie. She screamed and there was a sudden hot burst of light as the sword in her hand blazed up. Cassie leaped forward, sweeping her weapon at the demon, her skirt billowing behind her.
