Kat tilted her head at him with a cocky little smirk. “You don’t even know my demon form…don’t be too hasty, General.” Batton lifted his head a little at that, a look of bewilderment and awe coming into his expression as he couldn’t help but wonder just how dangerous this provocative little demon was. “So the restraints stay on then…” He muttered looking at her darkly, his eyes narrowing. “Can you tell me the answer to one question?”

I couldn’t tell if he was meditating, but he sure was laser-focused on what he was doing. “Are the candles supposed to burn out?” Theo whispered. “I’m getting a weird feeling right now.” Logan snorted. “It’s been over one hour. Did you think the candles are going to stay on for that long? Plus, the weird feeling is just in your head. Everything is fine.” “No.” I rose to my feet, looking out the window, dread creeping up my spine as the sky slowly darkened. “There’s a demon approaching.” A powerful one at that.

This time his eyes were closed as though he was sleeping. She walked closer to the chair as she thought she could probably be mistaken but when she got there, the demon was actually sleeping! April didn't know why she almost burst into laughter watching the demon there. He was sitting straight with his arms folded and his eyes closed. She walked even more closer until she was only a step away from the demon to see if he was actually sleeping. On a norm, he would have opened his eyes and looked at her when he sensed her presence but the demon's eyes were still shut even when she was standing in front of him. April could not believe it, she bent and waved to his face but the demon still didn't

As the lower Demon extends his claws, he is suddenly screaming himself before he turns into a fiery smoke and disappears. However, before Yasmine can move and get to her feet, the lower Demon was replaced by an even bigger Demon. The general that was overseeing this section of the war could feel the increased pleasure of that one particular lower Demon and went to join the fun until he saw exactly who the lower Demon had in his claws.

Gunderson asked. “The incubus knows who and what we are. Speak. Incubus. Introduce us.” Anders commanded. The incubus stood as if he were pulled up by invisible strings. He was pretty pissed about it. I managed to hold back my laughter. “Gentlemen, may I introduce you to the Vasili and Vasilia of the desire demons. Anders Damon and Madison Coto. The king and queen of my people.” He said stiffly and with a little sneer when he said ‘queen’.

Chris waves his hand, shooing away the demon like it’s a stray animal. The demon’s smile didn’t fade, “be thankful that I’m in a good mood today.” Damien said then suddenly disappeared. Chris’ eyes widened and looked around. No one seemed to notice his sudden disappearance. “Is the food good?” Kurt asked as he approaches their table. He placed the water bottle on the table and sat. “Of course, your mother is great cook.” Chris answered while trying hard not to show that he got startled because of the demon appearing and disappearing anytime he wants.

I answered coolly. He strutted across the room and went to stand in a glass window where the outside showed a good angle of the veranda and the Winner Family pool. He smiled, pleased over something that he saw. I wondered what it was then. What is advantageous of being a demon is that we get to read another person's mind. We can use it for or against them. But before an angel, we are helpless. It is either they have barriers in their too-holy brains or they are just dead on imagination. I prefer to think it is the latter.

Suddenly, from the very center of the pentacle, a swirling mass of black smoke began to materialize, coalescing into a towering, amorphous form. This entity, devoid of any discernible features, exuded an aura of pure malevolence. Belle's heart raced as she took in the sight before her—this was her first encounter with a demon, a being she had scarcely believed could exist. Paralyzed with fear, she watched as the smoky figure loomed closer, its presence suffocating and terrifying.
