Alexander's POV I knocked and pressed my ear against Anastasia's door, there was no response from the inside. I snatched the handle and twisted it open, revealing my daughter, who was completely immobile on her bed. Moreover, as I started walking slowly and cautiously towards her bed, I noticed her sleeping with her hands securely gripped on a portrait. When I reached out to take it from her grips, I realized it was a photograph of her with her mother, Pamela.

He watched as the people around Ursula’s water dome began chanting “Mur-der-rer” He heard the creature laugh as it was burnt to a crisp leaving a huge humanoid mark on the bleachers. The people were also burnt to ashes as he watched them try to walk towards him. Ursula’s dome on the other hand had evaporated due to the head but she was left unharmed. Unable to do anything, Lyon froze as his chin rested on Metoki’s shoulder. She was a bit of a perfectionist and couldn’t stand when things were out of place. If she were human, I’d say she had severe OCD. I guess I could still say it even though she was a demon.

Instead of wincing, I just nodded my head weakly. "Yeah..." Across the field, I saw that the demons were trying to fight against Cole, but he was now on all fours, his body was wrapped in flames. Then I turned to Taylor and saw that he was carrying someone, and soon I realized that he was helping Darren to get up. Out of nowhere, there was another scream and I saw Cole slashing at a demon, and as the other demon was approaching from behind, Cole turned around, shifted back to his human form, and threw a hard punch. He used his wings to glide forward and knock out one of the demons attacking Jesse from behind before jumping and shifting back into a demon. He was completely in control.

But it was Alex, fueled by rage and an insatiable hunger for dominance, who would unwittingly tear down the invisible wall that concealed his enemies. With a primal roar, Alex lunged at the oak tree, his massive frame colliding with its ancient trunk. The impact reverberated through the forest, startling Mia and Stella and causing the sorcerer's spell to falter. The barrier shattered like glass, fragments of energy dissipating into the night. In that fleeting moment, they emerged from their hiding place, the sorcerer's eyes blazing with renewed vigor, stepped forward, channeling his magic to confront the demon within Alex who had wreaked havoc for far too long.

“I am favourite of Demon Lord Basille, one of the nine overlords in the Demon Realm…how do you think I am expected to behave for him?” Batton remained silent, his jaw muscles ticking as he grit his teeth, his eyes blazing with that golden sheen. Kat tilted her head at him with a cocky little smirk. “You don’t even know my demon form…don’t be too hasty, General.” Batton lifted his head a little at that, a look of bewilderment and awe coming into his expression as he couldn’t help but wonder just how dangerous this provocative little demon was. “So the restraints stay on then…” He muttered looking at her darkly, his eyes narrowing. “Can you tell me the answer to one question?”

"And I'll do it in front of your precious little mate. Then, I'll rip out his broken heart that's been shattered to pieces and feast upon it. How does that sound?" I contort, fury breaking through my shirt. My wings stab forward and propel him backward. He flies across the hallway, hitting the lockers. His black shirt is ripped and in tatters. Blood dripping out. But already it's starting to heal. His blood smells like the earth where the dead lay unearthed. Damn ghoul.

"Human... how are you..." Lucien Desrosiers, the Demon King of the dark court, took one stunned step back. The noise behind him died at once.
