The air turned colder with every breath he took, shadows rippling outward from his feet. “We’re surrounded,” I muttered, stepping away from him slowly. His voice was a growl. “Let them come.” A bolt of light shot toward us, but I raised my hand, twisting my fingers through the air. Shadows erupted like vines, devouring the spell mid-flight. My eyes burned with violet flame as my blood stirred. I could feel her—my demon—writhing beneath my skin, itching for freedom. “You want to see what a Celeriac demon looks like?” I whispered, mostly to myself.

The demon lowered down until its red heels touched the floor. The camera suddenly straightened and even focused on Dorothy’s face. In split seconds, the lady was already behind her. Dorothy’s crying eyes widened when the demon clutched her shoulders. Her face wrinkled as the demon’s sharp nails pierced deep in her flesh. The demon leaned over her ear and we could only see her lips layered with deep red lipstick. “I want it all...” the demon whispered before licking Dorothy’s ear. It dragged her by the hair and slammed her hard on one of the chairs.

It took the demon whole five minutes to pull itself from the ground. Silence rained down on the clearing. All three of us stared at the clouded crimson eyes that stared at us. The demon sighed and ran a hand through his black waist length hair. Lisa's grip tightened on my arm as she whispered, "Holy shit." My mouth fell open slightly as disbelief clouded my eyes. I actually summoned a demon!? I mean... it was to be expected but the fact that it was actually done was mind blowing! I've never summoned a demon before! I've never even seen one in real life until now!

What the fuck was that? A demon? Suddenly, my ears picked up a low hum, coming from all around, its closing got louder as if they were coming closer, surrounding me. Dozens…no, hundreds…of voices whispering at once. “Ava…” an eerie voice called. A shiver ran down my spine, my heart racing.

Out of nowhere, we are surrounded by wolves, and I’m guessing that not a bunch of regular ones. “Demon wolves!” Jasper whispers, I almost forgot about his presence. And he is right, Killian must have summoned the demon wolves. MOTHERFUCKER!

The Whisper materialized in the center; it was a vaguely humanoid shape made of compressed sound waves. When it saw us, the woman's voice distorted into something cracky. "Help. Me. Please." Then it lunged. Amon caught it with his shadows, but the creature was slippery and hard to hold. I moved in from the side, and my knife found its core. It was a frequency generator. The blade struck true. The Whisper's form destabilized, sound waves scattering in all directions before it dissolved completely.

I do not know if the sounds coming from there are screams from them being overpowered or if it is the laughter.
