The Demonic Art reaches beyond death itself. There is no escaping it." He let out a cold, satisfied sneer. Suddenly, a massive cloud of black mist, threaded through with a sickly pink haze, exploded outward and blanketed the entire sky above the Umbral Peak Sect.

When Sonia noticed this, there was only one thought in her mind; this being was connected in someway to her baby. “This is Seth; the demon king and master of the underworld. He has come to aid you in your quest” Thanatos stated to Sonia upon the arrival of the creature. What Sonia thought would be the demon king happen to be a very fine young human clothed being with no spot nor wrinkles in his face. I wanted to scream, but no sound came out. Because Damon rose to his feet, glowing like a living star, his body cracking with light. And when he opened his mouth again, the sound that came out was not human at all. The air shook as Damon rose to his feet. His whole body glowed with silver runes that pulsed like a heartbeat. His eyes were no longer his. They burned with light that belonged to something older, something dangerous. The destructive sonic wave threatens to tear our eardrums apart, turning the sacred assembly hall into a screaming vortex of shattered metal and high-frequency agony. "No, no, no", Vandeer began shrieking and in front of my eyes, I saw her begin to rapidly age. Her skin wrinkled and her hair turned white before falling from her scalp. "Ahh!", She shrieked once more and black smoke poured from her mouth and shot out in my direction. The power of gods responded quickly and more of the blinding white fire spewed from my mouth. Black met white in the air and a Sonic boom sounded over the island as the two magical forces clashed. That blinding light flowing from the gods through me and against the necromancer was blinding hot. Even my vision blurred as this force left my mouth. It got hotter and stronger.

"I'm listening." Kendrick launched into a detailed explanation of his plans, but Damon's mind began to wander. He was thinking about the potential profits, the ways he could manipulate Kendrick to get what he wanted. Just as Kendrick finished his pitch, Damon's phone buzzed. He glanced at the screen, his expression darkening. "Excuse me for a moment," he said, standing up. He stepped out of the room, his right-hand man, Marcus, waiting for him in the hallway. "What is it?" Damon asked, his voice low and even.
