I frown. Lamia has always liked me—the feeling isn't mutual. Lamia has the torso of a woman but the body of a snake. I find her repulsive. "Hi..." I growl back.

Bobi and Al shouted at the same time. "Demon, your eyes are slanted!" It turned out to be Bang Supri Ompong, the tomb guard who stood in front of Al and Bobi and snatched the jug from them. "Damn! This is the devil's father!" exclaimed Bobi as long as his tongue blepet-blepet spiciness. "You're the devil! Humans act more than demons! Why are you bothering people's graves? For a moment, nothing happened then the drying brown blood flared green. Yellow smoke billowed up from the floor. The smoke formed a figure then it popped into existence as a solid form. The demon was huge. His skin was orange with giant grey horns and spikes sticking out of all over. He held a giant maul. "I heard there was a party!" the demon's voice boomed. I nodded. I couldn't quite find my voice. A part of me was shocked this even worked, the other part was half terrified he'd kill me on the spot.

She whispered softly to her palm and immediately Twinie appeared before them. " Hmphh, I see you're making deals with the devil, sadly, your demon is still an amateur, girls," she looked at them and they brought their palms out and said together. "Dolly.." within a blink of an eye their demons were standing beside them. Octavia's eyes widened, a gasp escaping her throat. 'You gave us the same powers, why?' she questioned the devil in her head. "Poor princess, must have been on the moon already and then we broke you, again, you must be really strong by not shedding a tear, I admire you." Danica said, sarcasm hovering allover her comment.

The dark cloud that had loomed over Alex's soul grew denser, and with each passing day, the demon lurking inside him gained strength. Its malevolent presence seeped into his thoughts, tainting his actions with a sinister allure. Alex had fought against it, but now, it seemed as if the demon's grip on his very essence was tightening, suffocating him. He noticed Alex was starting to know more about things, meaning he already knew about the trick he was playing with his mind. The demon possessed him and started ordering everyone to get the sacrifice ready fast so he could come in his full self.

I go to kick it into the wall, but those teeth tipped tentacles are wrapped tight around my calf, tightening every second in sawing, deadly vice. Although it was very loud, Marlin was not shocked at all as she had expected this. “How long have you noticed?” Marlin asked the demon sitting on the floor. She dispelled her concealing spells and showed herself in front of the demon. “Since the moment you entered Britney’s mind.” The demon answered. The demon had horns so huge that they were bigger than his head and curled twice. His eyes were glowing yellow and his body was dark violet with mysterious markings all over. Nearby, Marlin could see rotting corpses and skeletons of various races. Perhaps Marlin was used to the smell, but it did not smell as bad as it looked.

Although they don't look like ordinary people with different hair colors, eyes, and species, except for Camila, I'm not afraid of them. I'm having a good time chatting with them, and I learned much about who they are. Saye, Arlo, and Jippis are demons. I thought demons were scary and ugly looking, red with horns, and had a snake-like tongue, always red and surrounded by fire to represent hell that wants to eat your soul. You always see them on Halloween posters or costumes; Saye, Arlo, and Jippis don't look like that. They don't look scary at all. I feel like they came out of a comic book, like a superhero.
