Nothing but the usual DHT courtyard. Then I opened it. The letter inside is black with silver writing. I turn it over, checking the envelope again. Nothing. Who the hell sent this? It has to be a demon. This is demonic magic, no question. But why would a demon be helping me? None of this makes sense. I bite my lip, staring at the note, trying to decide what to do. One thing is certain—I am not following it blindly. I have too many enemies. And for all I know, breaking the horns of some unknown entity could end with me exploding.

Although they don't look like ordinary people with different hair colors, eyes, and species, except for Camila, I'm not afraid of them. I'm having a good time chatting with them, and I learned much about who they are. Saye, Arlo, and Jippis are demons.
