I flip to page two and look at the names on the top. “I don’t recognize these names.” I bunch up my brows in a frown. I feel like I should know these names, but I can’t place my finger on them. Ruth bobs her head in understanding. “You wouldn’t recognize them by those names Levi. They’re old demons. Biblical old. From back when your father Lucifer ruled the Demon Realm.” My eyes widen as I look down at the names one more time. I sit contemplating my options. I could go visit my father and see if he has any idea where these three demons could be located, but I really didn’t want to.

She was curious to learn more about how this Demon's mind worked and how he felt about things. The young Demon did not think momentarily; he answered immediately, " I would keep the name Demon. I would add the name Matteo Nightwhisper. My name would be Demon Matteo Nightwhisper." He grinned at her and explained, "Demon because it was the name given to me by the pack, Matteo, because of the irony- I am being given a gift from a goddess and Nightwhisper to honor my new pack."

This also meant there are many variants of demons. The realm they are residing is called Saintcrow, the same name as her father’s surname. The other realms were listed as Dregok, Trokuron, Gerthrikoth, Kozzonnuth, Dallmaroth, Arthrik, Kolrerin, Jer’orith, Mazgaxel, Rarkun, and Orthraluth.

I asked. “I can’t tell you. If I were to tell anyone her real name though, it would be you.” Moran stated. “Go ahead.” I nodded. “Patrick Devere and Solar Flare can never find out the Vasilia’s demon name is Persephone. The man explained. “Which one?” asked PJ. “What?” the man asked, not that he did not hear the question just that he was afraid of saying his name. “What is the name of the demon your people released from the underworld?” the man swallowed hard. “Asmodeus…” before he could finish JP finished for him. “The demon of lust.” Zande threw his hands in the air.

Each one had a short description alongside a sketched photo of the demon themself and a symbol. I’d read through each one, finally landing on Chaos. He looked different than the rest of the sketches, as if he were a last minute add to the book. The drawing of him was smeared, as if the artist rushed. His symbol was different. Less intricate than the others.

“They called me a weird name. Sounded like my name, but it wasn’t, “said Coralis, thinking about the name they used when the demons saw her. “Corhaaliniakhys, that’s how they called me.” The teachers’ eyes went wide for an instant. “Never repeat that name to anyone, unless you absolutely need to and trust the other person with your life. Don’t even repeat it to any of the school administrators. The demons called you by your true birth name, the one your parents gave you when introducing you to their god. The true birth name of an elemental has power. You don’t want anyone to summon you using it,” said Swope.
