Matt left without another word, causing Ashton to jump to his feet. He was never allowed in on any political business, the committee having no faith in his ability to speak to other royalty. What were demons doing here? Were they roaming the streets freely? But then I had the feeling that the demons had somehow tracked my energy and they were trying to find me. That was strange. It should have been the opposite. Demons usually ran away when they felt the energy of the Gods. And these were actively trying to appear in front of me. And their number was not particularly large either. From what I was sensing, there must be around more than fifty of them. The number was not particularly alarming
