Xareth stood hunched in a corner, as if he could shrink from their disgust, he didn’t speak. “Did you go to Earth again?” one of the demons snarled, stalking toward him with fire in its eyes. Xareth said nothing. Another demon sneered. “You keep trying to destabilize the order. Filthy half-thing. You only go when you're supposed to.” With a guttural growl, the demon lashed out, kicking Xareth hard in the ribs. He collapsed but didn’t cry out. They left him there curled into himself like a broken thought.

The last thing I heard before pulling through the clouds was his voice in my head. " You won’t take her away from me again” he said. Wait. Again? I called my advisors to do some research on everything they had on Xavier. Red eyes and smoke were only common around one species. Demons. Demons are the vilest creatures who inhabit peoples' bodies on earth. They exist purely to create conflict. Was it possible Xavier was possessed by the spawn of the dark one? I shook my head, in bewilderment. She sat in front of Xander, her smile widened, and a shiver of unease coursed through me. Damien’s POV I wake up to the sun in my eyes. Fuck my head is pounding. When I try to get up I can’t. My eyes fly open as I feel my hands and feet have been tied to.. the bed frame ? I lay my head back and sigh. Fuck. I try to swallow but my throat still feels raw. She snapped my neck. When was the last time I’ve gotten that done to me. Demons live longer than humans and most things that can kill a human won’t kill a demon.

Xena replies with a chuckle and I look at Bellious, who smiles his pointy teeth on full display and I laugh at him as he wiggles his eyebrows. Even though Bellious is a demon, he is good looking. All the demons are, they have beauty and good looks. Their skin glows and shimmers, giving them the godly beauty. However, to the damned, they are quite hideous. Holes in their faces and bodies, their skin is wrinkled and grey and their eyes white and dead. They are things of nightmares, quite literally.
