The man fell to the ground, screaming in pain while Ares just rolled his eyes and threw the eyeball on the ground and stomped on it because squatting in front of the man. He grabbed the man by the hair and lifted his head up so they were eye leveled. “I told you I don’t do second chances but you are someone I’ve known for so long so I don’t want to kill you off just like that but if you don’t find a way to get me rid of this demon the next time we meet, I won’t just be taking away your other eye but also your life. Got that?” He pushed the man to the ground as he stood up then turned to Cornelius with a groan.

"Human... how are you..." Lucien Desrosiers, the Demon King of the dark court, took one stunned step back. The noise behind him died at once. The hall was packed with elders, guards, and newly chosen sacrificial consorts, yet everyone seemed to forget how to breathe. Someone whispered, "She is not afraid of him? The Demon King's whole body carries the lust-curse. Any woman who gets too close starts collapsing within three seconds. Why is she fine?"

Asher watched the memory unfold as if it were happening right before his eyes. He narrowed his eyes, focused on the dark figure with the massive wings. "Who the hell is this?" he asked Damir internally. "That's Morgana, a high-ranking demon from the Abyss," Damir replied. A beat of silence. "This Abyss," Asher said, his tone shifting. "Where exactly is it?"

They look very young but she was old, very old. I stared at Andrew and Lucien and noticed the same thing. It then dawned on me what they were. They were no witches but demons that hunt down witches to get more powers. They must have killed alot of them for them to look this young in flesh. They must be around a thousands years or more... Where does this information comes from. I barely know what I am and I know a lot about demons and witches already. I stared at him while waiting for an answer. “It’s a Demon’s symbol.” My eyes furrowed at what he said. I stared at his eyes but he seems serious! But what? Demon’s symbol? I don’t understand. “D-Demon?” I stammered. He nodded and looked away. He’s now back on staring at the glass wall. I shook my head in disagreement. “Are you kidding me? There’s no such thing about Demons! I am finding the murderer and-“ “It’s always been the Demon’s fault, Majesty. They are just using the people to do bad things but it’s always been their idea to hurt and kill someone.” He said while staring at the glass wall. I am even more confuse now.

These dresses are all bright colors and plain looking. I prefer wearing the ones with dark colors but with silver or golden linings to show that I’m not just a no one. Back then, my face is just enough for me to stand out because everyone knows me as the Demoness Alpha, but now that I have no name and is only regard as Helion’s disciple, and the fact that I’m using someone else’s face, if I want to stand out, I at least have to do something about what I wear.
