The Lunar Legacy

The Lunar Legacy

crackling with dark energy, the marrow god’s presence a palpable force, its essence emanating from the center of the chamber, the sanctum a crucible of dark magic, the chill a constant threat, the final battlefield of the Dawn Pack’s legacy. At the center of the sanctum stood the marrow god, a towering, grotesque entity of ice, bone, and shadow, its form a shifting mass of jagged ice shards and skeletal fragments, held together by tendrils of dark magic, its body nearly twenty feet tall, its limbs long and sinewy, ending in claws of sharpened bone, its torso a mass of cracked ice, veins of obsidian running through it like black lightning, a glowing blue core pulsing at its center, the sourc

DARK DIAMOND

DARK DIAMOND

♠️ ETHAN♠️ The warehouse district was a ghost town at night, rusted metal and broken windows, the perfect place for secrets. We moved in silence: Caspian’s team in black tactical gear, Dre and I flanking them. Thermal drones had pinpointed heat signatures inside the old cannery building. We breached hard, flashbangs popping, doors kicked in. Shouts echoed as Caspian’s men flooded the space. Brandon had Georgia pinned against a wall, knife to her throat, eyes manic. Jamila and Francesca stood nearby, guns drawn, duffels at their feet, ready to bolt.

They All Fall Down

They All Fall Down

"Right, bypassing the primary security enclave... interesting they still use this substrate... a little jump here, and we can access the root directory... have to be careful not to trip the factory kill-switch..." It was a dense thicket of jargon. I couldn't figure out if he was talking to himself, showing off for me, or if this was just how his brain operated. I leaned against a stack of old computer towers, the initial coke-fuelled confidence beginning to wane, replaced by a jittery exhaustion. The world started to narrow to the intense focus of his hands and the low hum of the shop.

World Of Darkness

World Of Darkness

His eyes were pools of absolute darkness, his sclera was as black as the darkest night, but in the center of that darkness was a point of purple light shining in total darkness. The one on the throne was Zark Ar Zatho, the Dungeon Master and overlord of Damenburg Castle.

The Dark soul

The Dark soul

Laughing David gave Asher a thumbs up, making it clear he saw through his blatant lie but wouldn't argue further. Defeated Asher slumped into his desk chair and swiveled around so he could admire the view just beyond his office window. Antitech wasn't exactly large by big business standards, but it had just enough floors where Asher could easily sit at his desk and look at the blue cloudless sky above the roofs of the small buildings surrounding it. Just beyond the small buildings the bigger office buildings began causing the view of the vivid blue sky to start to disappear from sight. It was in that cluster of large buildings that Goodman and Andrews enterprises resided and where Summer spe

World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

James laughed. Inside the Perisphere, the tour of the futuristic idealistic city of the next millennia, Democracity, was viewed from revolving balconies that formed sizeable rings suspended above the idealized city. From there, mingled with the rest of the excited fairgoers, they watched a six minute video with Democracity portrayed as the utopian vision. Designed of residential neighborhoods called Pleasantvilles and interspersed with industrial Millvilles in a mixed-use type zoning separated by beautiful fields reserved for agriculture and recreation, it was sterile and clean and promised egalitarian happiness. At the business and industrial hub of Democracity, was The Center, linked by gr

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

Dark Water

Dark Water

Lloyd was assaulted by the smell of dampness and mould when he stepped off the bottom rung and into the curtain of shadows. The thick expanse of darkness let little to no light penetrate its fibres, and what did served to showcase the glistening fungus that gnawed at the boards and made them treacherous to walk on. 'Maybe this is another reason that alcohol is the most common fuel here,' he thought grimly, tentatively inching forward to secure his footing. 'There's not many reasons to stay sober.'

Diary of a Stalker

Diary of a Stalker

"what does the non-working class do in the middle of the day?'' Felix gave me a look then smiled, ''girl. You are with the right person.'' ''Please don't be anything illegal, I can't afford to tarnish my father's name.'' ''Please, if rumours had it of him dating his young P.A didn't. I don't see how us going to Club Blue will. Turn left, then it's right over the stop light.'' Turns out Club Blue, was a gay club. Not that I had a problem with gay people. But them being naked and rubbing up on me was the problem. There were di*ks, tits, and pus*y everywhere.

The Pacific-Capital: A Cyberpunk Story

The Pacific-Capital: A Cyberpunk Story

Leyland, gobbled his down while Sol kept her eyes on a Tea shop that was swarming with activity. Customers walked in and out as casual as it went, completely uncaring of the Triad gangsters in their midst. The 14K hung out on the outside, talking by their modded cars, sporting dragon tattoos and gang insignias on necks. Some of the members were cyborgs, modifications varied but nearly everyone had a brain CPU implant or some external augmented reality glass stuck to the side of their heads. All this was as clear as day to Sol, courtesy of her enhanced cybernetic eyes capable of zooming in at targets roughly at 100 feet.
