Black Ice

Black Ice

I reached for my water, my eyes tracking the way his throat bobbed when he swallowed. "Is that a crime?" "You don't eat here," he rasped, finally lifting his head. Those green eyes were blown out, the pupils swallowing the iris until they were almost entirely black. "You eat... there." He gave a sign vaguely toward the center of the room where the team was staring at us like we had both grown second heads. "I eat where I want," I replied. I took a bite of my sandwich, watching him. "Why are you sitting in the dark? You like being a ghost?"

Codename: Blackheart

Codename: Blackheart

Iolaire bursts out laughing and clinks her glass with mine, “Well said!” Whiro steps up to me, his already large nostrils flaring even wider. He flexes his overcompensatingly large muscles as they strain against his shirt. A black long-sleeve button-down with a gold tribal design over the left shoulder and down the left sleeve, paired with gold and black brocade pants. It actually compliments his otherwise beige-looking skin quite nicely. As he leans in closer, attempting to tower over me I can see a hint of the tribal tattoos on his body through the opening of his shirt. Is he trying to threaten me or flirt with me? “I have a strong feeling this will be your last year, Blackheart. If I get

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

The drop of black ink on my palm didn't behave like liquid. It didn't smear; it expanded, forming a perfect, flat rectangle of darkness that mimicked the shape of a smartphone screen. As I stared into it, the image of the "Real" Kaima—the one with the serial number **[ASSET-01-PRIME]**—blinked. Her eyes were bloodshot, and she was surrounded by a thick, viscous fluid. She wasn't in a park. She was in a **Vat**.

BLACK AND WHITE

BLACK AND WHITE

The street lamps began to crumble just like they had done the day of the accident, the earth crumbling as the ground quaked. “Seems you could use a little help, little vamparina.” A masculine voice resonated in the air. Vamparina? There he stood, along with my parents, his eyes red, his black dreadlocks running down along his face, his muscles big, merging perfectly with his physique, his perfectly chiseled jawline with a black cloak on. “Blood!” They groaned. “Back to the underworld.” He said as he raised his hands. The air stood still, flame engulfing the creatures in a minute. Groans filled the air as they began to disintegrate into soot, flowing along with the wind.

SEVER ZERO

SEVER ZERO

"If we touch the physical glass, it'll trigger a localized purge." "Stand back," Jax said. The glitch-kid stepped up to the seamless black glass. He lifted the golden Admin Key. He didn't insert it into a lock; there was no door. He simply pressed the glowing key against the glass. The code of the wall rippled like water. The black glass hissed, then parted, revealing a swirling, glitching portal into the interior corridors. "Master of Keys," Jax smirked, stepping through. Ren followed. They entered the inner sanctum of the Bastion. The walls here weren't stone or glass; they were cascading waterfalls of green and blue hexadecimal code. This was the raw data stream of the Blackwatch’s real-w

Hiding His Heir: The Rejected Luna’s Return

Hiding His Heir: The Rejected Luna’s Return

The sound did not begin as a wolf’s cry. It began as a low-frequency vibration that rattled the silver-glass bones of the Architectural Holdings tower. It was a subsonic thrumming that bypassed the ears and landed directly in the solar plexus, a rhythmic demand for an ancient, suppressed biology to wake up. Silas Blackwood stood at the edge of the shattered boardroom window, his hand still white-knuckled around the red needle Kaelen had provided. Below him, the city of Sector 0 was a grid of blinking neon and moving metal, but the rhythm of the traffic had changed. It was no longer a flow; it was a heartbeat.

The Alpha's Ruined Mate: Awakening the Lycan Queen

The Alpha's Ruined Mate: Awakening the Lycan Queen

Heavy iron bolts slammed into the stone walls of the narrow merchant alleys, showering Natalia, Marcus, and Lyra with sharp fragments of brick and mortar as they ran. The city had transformed from a battleground into a living trap. Every automated street lamp they passed flickered with that volatile, oily purple hue, its glass lens swiveling like an eye to track their movement. Malakor was everywhere, his digital consciousness riding the electrical currents of Oakhaven’s upper-tier infrastructure. "Left! Into the old weaver's arcade!" Lyra shouted, sliding beneath a heavy iron security grate that was actively grinding shut under Malakor’s remote command.

The Realm Of Black Mist

The Realm Of Black Mist

Everett replied, "no, but we will jump." Everett jumped from the castle tower. She screamed in shock and hugged Everett's body. Everett jumped on every tree and stopped at one of the taller trees. Everett said, "it's alright, you can open your eyes now." She opened her eyes and was fascinated by the beauty of the realm of black mist. There is a colourful light that looks like a galaxy. She thought frightening darkness only surrounded the realm of Black Mist. But that darkness also looks beautiful. "Should we continue our journey? Don't close your eyes," Everett said.
