I smile at him. "She weighed just 2lb 5 oz, which is more than Luna weighed, but of course, something happened that made her stop growing, and then made her heart stop beating. Me and Demitri chose her name. Evie Rose, Evie after my mum, Rose after his, my dad was there, but quickly left after she was born, whether to hide the relief or the pain I don't know." I don't, I saw his love for her and the pain, but I saw relief, why everyone was relieved I don't know, she was a baby.

Not enough that we couldn’t breathe, but it was definitely uncomfortable. I saw a sheen of sweat over Evie’s brow as the entrance became minuscule. The silver ingots began glowing red and green as they lifted up in the air. Just as the entrance closed completely the silver ingots broke into pieces and fell around Evie. She breathed deeply as everything seemed to go completely still and silent. “It’s done.” She started to fall to the ground as my father caught her and held her upright. Soon after Max came running in with a protein bar, some water, and a towel. Drew stood at the doorway looking in at Evie as their father had her drink and eat quickly.

He didn’t have the strength to keep denying it. "Don’t be, you dumbass," Evie said with a light chuckle. She finally withdrew her hands and stepped back. "I’m rooting for you, Daemon. I always have been. I want you to be happy. I want to look back and know my dearest is alive again. Not just breathing, but truly alive. Anyone can breathe, but not everyone truly lives. I want you to live again."

“So what’s your name? You never said.” “Oh sorry! I’m Evie.” The girl – Evie – smiled widely as she held out her hand for them to shake. “I’m living with my aunt and uncle in New York whilst my mother is on business in Europe. They’re my closest relatives outside of Canada and my mother didn’t want me missing any of my training. Hey, did you understand what Beatriz was talking about with the Accords? I got so confused.” “Tell me about it. I was nearly falling asleep with the boredom.” Sam said. He grinned at Max and pulled him into a one armed hug. “It’s a good job Max here was taking notes otherwise I’d have no clue what’s going on.”

Don't tell me his parents are Harry Potter fans? ‘Looks like that!’ And my wolf is back. "Oh sorry, dear." Ev is teasing him too. "Anyway, the teleporters, vampire Alex, and Jon's sister, the fairy, Trixie, over there. Is Alexie not awake yet?" The two ladies shook their heads. By the way, they are the parents of cute little Alexie. "It's a pity then," Eva continued. "Last but not least, the only pure vampire couple, Note and Clef. So, Pia can’t come?"

Evie's car pulled up in front of Babel group. When she got out, she took off her glass, a mischievous smile playing on her lips, she nods her head in satisfaction at what she was seeing. "So this is it. BABEL GROUP." She chuckled. "Well Ashton, let's see if you and I and truly alike." She put on her glass and cat walked into the company.

The sky was partially cloudy, but there were windows between the clouds — patches of deep black dotted with light. “What’s yours?” he asked. “My what?” “Your star. Don’t tell me you spend your life looking up and never chose one.” Instinct. Evie’s neck turned almost on its own, her eyes scanning the exposed piece of sky until they found the point they always found. “Sirius,” she murmured. “There.” Declan followed her finger. “The brightest?”

It seemed that someone had posted news that Evanson Corporation had hired Daphne Dawson as their brand ambassador. Thus, the competition between Evans Group and Evanson Corporation had been brought up again. Someone had even published a posting asking which company people would support since both Evanson Corporation and Evans Group were going with a horoscope theme. Naturally, Cheryl would choose Evans Group. After voting, she realized that there were only a few votes for Evans Group. She guessed that those votes had probably come from Sonia's fans. Cheryl sighed. Jack heard her sigh as he drove. He laughed and said, "What's wrong?"

He felt like he'd be gone anytime soon. True enough, after a week, Travis Harriett Evans, the head of the First Family died. During the final night of his father's wake, everyone gathered. The entire Evans mansion was full of well-known people. There were politicians, artists, businessmen, and an army of guards to protect all the guests. There are white lilies and daisies in the middle of the hall where Terrence's father's coffin was laid out. A large picture frame containing his image was also on display at the side of the coffin. Also on display was the Black Scorpion banner. The symbol was painted in gold ink on a violet banner.

Leah then approached Mia, looked up so is Grace. "The photo is tacky," Mia showed the screen of her smartphone which opened the photo of Evie. "Seriously" In the photo, Evie is sitting on a chair made of dark brown wood. The wood shimmered in the light, it was varnished to perfection. Evie looked so happy, her lips pulled to the opposite side to form a wide smile. Her eyes were fixed on the camera, but her eyeballs missed a few tens of centimeters from the lens. She wasn't looking at the camera lens, her eyes were looking at something else.
