Chapter One: We're Going To The Kingdom

His brows were creased with worry, which worsened when he noticed the odd title. I opened the book. The spine creaked softly in my hands as though it were sighing, welcoming the first person to glance upon it’s pages. A gentle gust of magic emerged from the center and hit me right in the face. It was a breeze scented like a long summer’s day, with notes of wildflowers, freshly cut grass, and honeycomb. I fanned the pages in stunned silence. This book couldn’t possibly tell Lina’s entire life, could it? Such a thing didn’t seem possible, yet nothing I’d seen seemed possible. If creepy, half-dead creatures called Librarian’s existed, then why couldn’t this?

However, when I reached the spot where the presence seemed strongest, I was startled to find not a person but a book. It looked different from the many tomes and manuscripts filling the shelves of the library. The book was leather bound, and instead of facing me with its spine, it was placed on the shelf with its front cover facing me. It was dark—beautiful and deep obsidian. The edges were threaded and swollen because what I guessed had to be antlers were sewn into the edges. In the middle laid a blood-red jewel that seemed to shine in my face with its own light. The book was pumping with energy. I swear, it sounded like it was whispering to me, calling to me.

Making my way to a nearby table, I carefully laid the book down, anticipation bubbling within me like a dormant volcano ready to erupt. Opening the book, I was greeted by the sight of intricate maps sprawled across its pages, each line and contour telling a story of the land it depicted. The Five Courts of Lyria unfolded before me, a tapestry of hills, valleys, lakes, and rivers stretching out like a canvas waiting to be painted. My fingers danced across the paper, tracing the topography.

Sarah stretched out her body as she closed the book she finished reading. She stood up from her dressing table, lifting the book up above her head. "What an amazing story," she bellowed and pecked the front cover of the book. She loved the content she read which talked about each pack with the territory. It was an amazing journey that all packs took to grow and became large as they were now. She read the different stories about each pack and she marveled at their characteristics.

The ‘Book of Kingdoms’ contain it all,” she said and raised two fingers at the shelf, “Give me the ‘Book of Kingdoms’” she said in commanding manner, the books moved and a book in black color moved out of a shelf and floated in front of them, the book floated to the table and was placed on it elegantly. Erica whistled lowly, “Will I be able to do that?” she asked as she touched the book, the velvet covering it was so soft and silky. She had never touched a more expensive

Still, I love the author, Priam, but his book this time is confusing. His book was always been things about the morphers; how they live, their traditions and more. I took a sip from the cup then said, “Yeah.” “It’s a BL book.” I raised my brows. “BL book? What’s a BL book?” She smiled before answering and pursed her lips as she poured tea for me. She placed the pretty teapot on the tray and then looked at me with a funny look on her face. “BL book. It’s a book with illustrations of two grown men fucking.”
