So Close to Being in Love

So Close to Being in Love

I nodded and wiped my tears. "I really apologise. I had no idea that it would hurt you so badly. I should not have talked about your tale in that way..." "It's not that," I answered, interrupting. "It's because I've never talked about something like this with anyone in my life. Because no one knew I wrote novels so I couldn't discuss my novels with others. For the novels, I've always talked to myself from multiple angles." "Oh, I assumed you were offended by my opinion." "It pained me as well, but only a little. Because I saw numerous hate remarks, therefore it wasn't a thing for me."

Teacher's Pet

Teacher's Pet

Another tough question. “Well, um… I feel like it’s personal preference, but truth be told, every writer has, at least once in their lifetime, written at least one story that has significant references or connections to their own life. I won’t lie, I have, too. In fact one of my stories are based entirely on my early life.” I answered truthfully, as best as I could. “You mean… it’s an exact copy? Truly your life story?” Asked another.

Very much enjoyed this story! Great dialogue, characters & storyline. Did not drag out with ridiculous plot twist or misogynistic action against the female lead. Plot was whimsical, but nicely done. No excessive, but stupid chapters. Kudos to a job well done! Thanks!

I couldn’t put this book down and read it in a day. It was compelling, the characters were well written, and I loved the FL (by the end). Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!! I’m going to read more by this author, for sure!!

The Billionaire's Alternate Plan

“I’m sorry I’ve written four full-length novels and am writing a fifth right now. So please tell me the title of which novel you’re speaking of, and specifically which character do you believe is you?” Julie knew this would happen, eventually. Someone would express how unhappy they were with the belief Julie wrote a character about them, and it would shine a light on their behaviour.

I started this thinking here we go same as so many on the app. But seeing Michael realize things weren’t how he believed and taking a good look at himself was refreshing. Juliette and her struggles were handled in a way that she wasn’t shown as incompetent but handling her issues. Good read

The book's complex language and spelling errors made it unclear at times. Dialogues were overly long, often feeling like therapy sessions, which could be boring. However, the sincere discussion of ADHD and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome showed the author's personal touch. Overall, I'm glad I read it.

The Woman Who Stayed

The Woman Who Stayed

The particular quality of a person who has received confirmation of something they needed to know and can now proceed. "Can I ask you something about writing?" he said. "Yes," she said. "How do you know when something is true?" he said. "Not factually true — I mean true in the way your book is true. When you're writing something that isn't real, that is made up, how do you know if it's true in the way that matters?" She thought about this seriously.

Reborn As a Villain Son With The Stronger Wife

Reborn As a Villain Son With The Stronger Wife

"Yes. If the novel was incomplete, I can still use it for general guidance about major events. If my presence is changing things, I can predict what might change based on my decisions. If this world was never identical to the novel, then everything I think I know might be wrong and I'm operating on false information." Seraphyne was quiet for a moment. "What's your assessment?" "I think it's a combination. The novel was incomplete because authors simplify complex situations for narrative purposes. My presence is changing things because I'm making different choices than the original Kael would have made. And this world was never identical because the novel was written as entertainment, not as

Summer Love Is Just For Summer

Summer Love Is Just For Summer

It was a creative writing class and over the years many of the short stories that I made in this class turned into full-blown novels. The only ones who know about those novels are Nathan and Lucas because quite a few of them are my more mature books. Lucas is my best friend so it is quite easy to tell him my different stories. It took a lot more time to be able to tell Nathan about them though. I guess I should be afraid that he would tell the whole school. For some reason, though I can't bring myself to be afraid. I guess I just can't see Nathan ever doing that to me.

Ravens of Eternity

Ravens of Eternity

Kinda like what we’re seeing politically across the globe. Thing is that truth is extremely malleable, and people will believe what they want with absolute certainty and veracity. It doesn’t matter if that truth clashes with someone else’s truth. The problem is that some people have come to understand this difference, and pit people against each other based on their personal truths. Most of the time, these people stoke these differences for their own profit. That’s what I want to explore in the next novel. I think it’ll be really exciting to read, and I think you will really enjoy it.

By the title itself, it was already something that would hook anyone immediately. And after reading a few chapters, indeed it was great. I really love reborn books/novels and I am not disappointed one bit at all! Love the Mc by the way.

CEO's Darkest Secret

CEO's Darkest Secret

Upon learning of the female character's traumatic past, many readers empathize with her. However, I am fully aware that if I share this story with anyone I know, they will perceive it as a true account of my life. They will never have faith in me, and even if they do, they will only ever be able to judge my character. Nobody can truly comprehend the suffering I went through as a child. My parents didn't believe me when I tried to tell them about Uncle Joe. Writing a novel about those horrifying experiences in my life has been an extremely painful journey for me. However, it has helped me overcome my excruciating agony.

Possibly. So, I had my people dig into it. Turns out “Nova,” her pseudonym, is real. She’s an author, and from what I’ve seen, her books aren’t half bad. They’re filthy—dark, twisted. She has a mind that revels in the shadows. But this move? This was reckless. I need to know if she’s genuine or if she’s playing some kind of dangerous game.

Mga Madalas Itanong

I remember picking up 'The Kite Runner' for the first time and being completely absorbed in its raw emotions and vivid settings. At first, I wondered if it was based on real events because it felt so authentic—like someone's actual memories spilling onto the page. But novels, even when they feel real, are usually works of fiction. Authors weave bits of reality into their stories—historical events, personal experiences, cultural truths—to make them resonate. That's the magic of it: a novel doesn't have to be a true story to *feel* true. Some, like historical fiction, blur the line deliberately, embedding fictional characters in real-world backdrops. Others, like fantasy, create entirely new worlds but still reflect human truths.

The confusion makes sense, though. When a story grips you, it's hard not to wonder, 'Did this really happen?' Take 'To Kill a Mockingbird'—it's fiction, but Harper Lee drew from her upbringing in the South, making it feel achingly real. Even memoirs, which are 'true stories,' get critiqued for subjective memory. So while novels aren't factual records, the best ones capture something deeper: emotional truth. That's why we connect to them, whether they're grounded in reality or spun from pure imagination.
