"I tried. It’s viral. People saved it. Reposted it. It’s everywhere." I stood there, fists clenched, as my life... the public part of it... flashed before my eyes. As the face of a multinational company and a mafia boss, I played a tight game. No mistakes. No scandals. And now? One mistake. One girl. And I was drowning in the mess. Reva's POV Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. I grabbed the bat from under my bed and pressed my back to the wall. The door opened. I swung hard. “REVA!” I stopped the bat two inches from Petra’s face. We stared at each other. “What is wrong with you?” Petra pressed her hand to her chest. “You almost killed me.” “I almost killed an intruder,” I said. My hands shook. “And what are you doing here?”

she asked inquisitively. “Devils Night is our favorite night of the year, a night of mischief. It started in Detroit but has spread so far beyond all of that. It is a night to celebrate being young and free, a night to have a little fun. I don’t see anything wrong with that.” she was hanging on my every word. It was all true but there was another reason for the name. Devil’s night was also Synestra’s birthday. “One final question, what do you think about the protests and people saying you somehow brainwash your fans with your music?” she asked and I could tell she thought this was a hard hitting question. I decided to have a little fun with her.

Instantly, the traitorous breeze abandoned the intruder running away, while the intruder stood still, gazing at the other half that had been covered forever. The intruder took the liberty, staring intently at the other half of the devil face where a hideous scar sat triumphantly. It seemed like it had been engraved deep, cutting through his left eye down to his coloured pink lips. No one had ever seen his scar,at least lived to tell a tale. An evil smirk, grew on the devil's face,it broadened the more, alerting his intruder of the danger he was in. The devil had one word to say. "Run"

"Therefore we are going to play a game, it called 'ugly girls get no men to like them,' and once we are done, there are going to be so many scars on your face that you won't be able to face your own reflection,"

Mercy replied with a smile, I guess Devil has convinced her without apologizing, he turned to me with a smug smile showing how he changed the situation without apologizing and I gave him an eye roll. "So how about we play cards like old times?" the devil proposed and Mercy agreed, that's one thing that holds them together, I suck at it. I declined and just watched them play and how happy it made Mercy and a bit of me hope it doesn't make her fall for devil again.

"Everybody wants to play the game, except for you. Is just a game and nothing more. She voiced out and i felt a little embarrassed. " come on daisy! Kelly nudged me again." I took a quick breath. She said and tore a piece of paper from a book on the table. So am going to give a brief summary on how the game is. The rules are, you will pay a certain amount to any question you fail to answer. Or play a dare if you don't have the money." She said and i felt scared about the whole thing. Oh heavens!
