Debbie plans to buy a farm with huge hectares. She’s planning to build it as another source of income; an additional asset. She starts building her business plan for Home Farm. She doesn’t want to disclose to the team yet nor to the public. She calls Abby to accompany her to Home Farm that’s 300 km away from the CityMall. They’ll go direct to the farm early in the morning. Abby even though hesitant, she joins Debbie on the farm trip. The later haven’t told yet why they will go there. Abby volunteer driving since it’s a long trip to undertake. While on the road, Debbie does her normal work. Calling and taking calls from clients and doing other business transactions.

Deewee’s mom, a nurse, had been living there for two years now, and Deewee had been itching to visit the great freezing north. “You’ve barely been dieting a month and you’re already caving, man?” Jeff chimed in as he flopped down next to Deewee, set the soda on the ground, and peeled off his uniform polo. From across the field, the girls on the opposite bleachers elbowed and whispered as they shamelessly ogled.

I took a breath. "I've taken on a farm. It's called Morningdew, sits at the foot of the hills south of the city. It's failing. Has been for a while. My mom's giving me three months to turn it around, which is her version of a job interview and a hazing ritual combined. I need to go see it in person first, but..." I turned the shape of it over in my mind, the plans I'd sketched half-asleep at 2 a.m. "I want to bring it back to life." "A farm," Sienna repeated, eyes bright. "Like, pick-your-own strawberries and bottle-feed a lamb kind of farm?"

There were two charming figures in the crowd—Moriri and Alice. All that could be seen was Moriri's expression—completely calm, unmoving or showing any form of emotion. Her eyes were hollow, devoid of any spirit. Indeed, Moriri had been completely controlled by Dewey. Dewey looked up at the clouds on the top of the mountain, overwhelmed with emotion at the sight of the building. "Twenty years… It's been twenty years, and I'm finally back." Dewey's expression was calm as he spoke, but he felt a surge of emotions and excitement in his chest.

Dew said as he left the room. Jay watched Dita eat with gusto. Jay was glad to see it. Jay gives cash to Dew. Dew records on the computer and gives Jay the change. "Thank you for coming. We are waiting for his presence again, " greeted Dew warmly. Jay nodded a little then walked out of the cafeteria with Luthfi. The dew returned to the cafe waiter's break room. "I forgot to ask about the movie," said Dew who had just remembered it. The dew patted his forehead.

“So tell me the truth, Macie McKay, were you mentally redecorating my house while we were eating lunch?” “No.” Macie reached over and whapped her on the knee. “Being around my sis-in-law has made you a real smartypants, Amy Jo Foster.” AJ laughed and it didn’t feel as forced as she’d imagined. The lunch rush at Dewey’s was over. AJ trailed behind Macie as Dewey gave her the nickel tour. As many times as she’d been in, she hadn’t noticed the details that made the interior unique until Dewey pointed them out to Macie.

What a dick. The drive takes less time than I thought it would. It's lunchtime and I am parked just outside the house. There’s no one around, and the house is massive. This is a proper farm; there’s stables out the back and a big swimming pool. I can see why Devin kept it hidden from me; I would’ve taken the piss. I always thought he was a city guy like me. I would never imagine him being in the countryside with horses. Shit, is that cow?

Morning on the mountain slope arrived with mist creeping through the gaps in the wooden walls of the cottage. The scent of cloves dampened by dew filled the air, offering a strange sense of calm to Dewangga. He stepped out onto the terrace, stretching muscles that still often felt stiff. In his hand was a small hoe; he planned to plant a few vegetable seedlings behind the hut. “You seem to be enjoying your role as a farmer, Dewangga,” a hoarse voice came from the corner of the terrace.

"It's disappointing, man. So fucking disappointing." I wanted to punch him and break his nose then and there but I reconsidered after judging all the parts he would break if his punches landed on me in return. Hell no... I wasn't ready to die yet. The main reason for Dewey's visit was obvious. There was a new girl he had been stalking for a while. He needed a wingman to go with him while he dropped the moves on her. A little confidence boost. Dewey liked the girl because of her ass. He was the type of guy that went crazy for ass. You could lead him into an invasion trap set by a terrorist group if the right type of ass was to pass by. I pressed my lips together and shook my head at the situation before turning and leaving the farmhouse to go talk with dad and Ivy. I walked out to the stables to check if they were there or if they were out already checking cattle and fences. As I got closer to the stables, I heard them talking while the horses made noise. I walked in to see what they were up to and to ask dad some questions. Ivy was saddling Tucker next to his stall and dad was saddling his horse, Buster. “What are you two up to?” I asked. “Getting ready to go check cattle and fences. A fox got into the coop last night and killed four of the hens,” dad told me.
