When she caught me looking at her, she anxiously avoided her eyes. Most of our servants are just like her. A half-human vampire, that is. From my mother's tales, they are what we called Dhampirs. Most human beings will fall shortly to death once bitten by a vampire. However, there are unique instances where they can manage to stay alive, which can happen if their body accepts the vampire's blood and becomes one with it. There are also some instances that count with these results like humans and vampires having offspring, or a witches' spell that can turn a human into a vampire.

We began our exploration in the section of myth and fantasy, where we encountered a lower section filled with fantasy tales. However, as we explored higher shelves, we stumbled upon books about "Vampirism, Witchcraft," and other dark subjects. Curiously, it appeared as though a book was missing from this specific shelf. Ignoring it, we continued our search and eventually stumbled upon a book titled "The Reaper of Sanity." "Here it is!" I exclaimed as I retrieved the book. "Oh, no!"
