“I didn’t invite you here to discuss my personal life,” I said sharply. “And I don’t know why you think you know what I need.”
“But that’s what this is about, isn’t it?” She placed a hand on her hip, the red fabric of her dress catching the light. “You need a Luna.”
“I have a Luna,” I tell her , hoping to end the conversation at this point.
“But she’s gone,” she persisted. “It's been a year and she’s nowhere to be found. So you should take a new one. And I’m right here, Damien. I’ve always been here. Ready and willi
