Lucy “Where is my daughter?” The question burst from my lips, raw and desperate. My hands trembled as I clutched Diana’s arm, my fingers digging into her flesh. “Do you perhaps know where she is?” Diana’s eyes softened with understanding. She nodded slowly, her expression gentle. “Yes. She is the Luna of the Crescent Pack,” she replied, watching me carefully for my reaction. I should have felt relief—my daughter alive, safe, respected, powerful even.

AVA: I listened intently to the recorder. Diana's voice was jittery and shaky as though one wouldn't believe what she was saying at first thought. "There are lots of things I would like to say but there isn't enough time to say them all. Most importantly, I am being hunted and I will be killed any moment from now. My Luna, Ma'am Audrey isn't a friend at all, and now, I know why you would see but pretend like you didn't. Unfortunately for me, I run my mouth so much that it's too late before I figure it out.

I say. Dianna agrees that this stays between us though she cries on my shoulder about how close her long lost niece is, then punches my arm .“That is for sleeping with my niece! You may be my stepson, but she is the future ruler of both Witches and wolf shifters and my niece!” she teases. “Hey! It’s not like I forced her! Don’t tell anyone but I am in love with her” I smirk. “Oh, that is fairly obvious! So, I take it that you are The Wichking, and we will be needing a Beta, since you will be by her side as Luna” She smiles. I know calling me “Luna” is teasing so I roll my eyes.

Moon’s face popped up from the space between Liam’s hand and his body. “Diana is.” She casually answered. Even in his shock, Liam didn’t fail to scold her for her casual answer. “She is your Luna.” He stated with seriousness and watched her face morph from displeasure to surprise, then respect. “Diana was found dead in her prison room Luna.” “And Aiden?” She asked. “Alive and emotionless.” Moon nodded slowly looking at Liam’s still-shocked face. She didn’t feel anything about the death of Diana and wasn’t ready to pretend she had not wished death upon her all through her hard days in the Silverstone pack.

But every loss, every betrayal, every scar had led me here. To this moment. To my people. To my home. " Is anyone missing? Who is it?" "Your Luna." Diana's orbs went white instantly, like something out of a movie. " She's missing. The guard didn't find her." "How do you know that?" I stared at her confused. She seemed to have gone into some kind of trance as she kept on chanting the same words. " Diana! Diana! Snap out of it!" They all fell on deaf ears. Her chants grew louder and her stance was already drawing a crowd. Ohs and Ahs rippled through the crowd. People were becoming uneasy and it wasn't a good sign..

She waved to him with a hand. The guard bowed again and didn’t spare me a glance before he stepped out of the balcony. Diana was the Luna. If Neon doesn’t make me his Luna, Diana will become the Luna of the Pack. “I was saying if you choose to be a werewolf but I doubt you’ll do that.” She smirked and took a step away from me. “You don’t want to spend your whole life trapped with a dominant man like Neon. You’ll never get the life you want.” She stated menacingly.

For days Diana stole from the pack's bank trying to make them go bankrupt and save them with the money she had been stealing. Kylian had gotten weak and sick and left the pack in her care, his thoughts of Eden and loss of his mate brought him to a standstill. Diana strode confidently through the dimly lit halls of the pack's territory, her heels clicking against the wooden floors. Her presence demanded respect, and her title as Luna was not just a mere formality. She had earned it through her cunning, ruthlessness, and insatiable hunger for power.

Her mind was somewhere else, it was on that letter, and the threat on Darren. The girl who is always with him, Mariah. Everything had started from that small piece of paper given to her by Luna Amelia.
