Alpha Paleframe, "Arnold!" Diana, the Luna of the Golden Moon Wolf Pack and one of the Founding Blessings, stormed into my chamber with a flushed face and heavy breathing. Her lips quivered as she approached me. "Did you tell the kids that I abandoned that girl?" she asked, her eyes shooting venom. Instead of looking up at her, I continued reviewing the files. I had no business with her except for Pack affairs. "Wow. You’re now avoiding me. Great! For that girl? Why?"

The girl was beginning to get on her last nerve and it took all the self-control in her to hold back from pouncing on her and disfiguring her beautiful black face. "The men were talking about you and I overheard them call you Hertha. I am Diana by the way." The Luna didn't say a word further. She went past Diana, stopping halfway to turn around and tell the strange girl to follow her. She took the girl back to the men. Dawn came and the hunt was over. The men returned to their houses to feed their families. __________

She has long wavy brown hair, the same colour as Brett’s, that is styled into a side ponytail. She gives me a once over before turning back to my Mum.

Now that you have found your mate, our pack is incomplete until she has been returned to the safety of our walls. You cannot expect us to stay here and wait for you to return. Our Luna needs us. “I’m really sorry Diana. I thought I could intimidate her as usual, but she was just so frustratingly bent on not according to plan. She wants to make sure you have the child out of wedlock.” She gasped and with shaky lips, she clasped her hand together. “But I’m pregnant with your child Lucian. I can’t give birth out of wedlock.” “Look, I know, okay?” I grabbed her hand across the table and we entwined fingers like it was natural. “But I’m not going to let that happen. You will be my Luna, Diana. And once you are, nothing will stop us from kicking Alana out of our pack.” “How would we convince her then. I think she already hates me. I feel so bad, but …”

She was weird. “You’d better show some respect, Diana. Our Luna, that’s who she is.” Christianna reprimanded her. “She’s what?” She exclaimed, amazed. “Our Luna? A human? A wolfless excuse for a Luna! Are you kidding me, Beta?” She ironically vented. “Diana, apologize right now!” Jin scolded her. “What? No way…I’m not apologizing to anyone.” She said bluntly. “She is our Alpha’s mate, Diana, whether you like it or not. She is your rightful Luna. Apologize now.” Christianna commanded.

To make matters worst, other Alpha’s and their Luna’s started to show up. “Luna Queen Dianna.” I turned to look and saw that it was Luna Hana of the black shadows pact. She was tall and her red hair was cut into a bob. Her skin was pale making her honey brown eyes stand out. I gave her a warm smile one a queen should give. “And how are you Luna Queen?” She asked me.

Hearing their conversation, Luna waved her hands and said, “Fine! I will work with you!” Diana shouted out excitedly, “Really? Are you serious, Luna?” “You saved me and put yourself at risk. What else can I say?” Diana was happy about the unexpected surprise. Luna turned to the door. Before walking out, she uttered, “You don’t have to worry about the advertisement. Take care of yourself. We will discuss it later when you are healed.” Diana nodded. Maybe Luna was not a bad girl after all. Seeing Diana’s joyful look, Brian couldn’t blame her anymore.

Jackson mind-linked to me. “I love you too,” I replied, wiping away my tears. We were ready for the second part of the ceremony. Elder Johanna was leading the ritual. She approached us, placed her hand over our joined hands, prayed to Selene, and nodded to Jackson. “I, Jackson, Alpha of the Silver Moon pack, declare you, my mate Loreen Liira of the Silver Moon pack, our Luna—the Luna who will stand beside me to lead and protect our pack,” Jackson proclaimed. “I, Loreen Liira, born of the Lunar Eclipse pack and now a member of the Silver Moon pack, accept the title of Luna to Alpha Jackson and to our Silver Moon pack,” I said, locking eyes with him.
